Thank you for your contributions. Please remember to mark your edits as "minor" only if they truly are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes, or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. Dougweller (talk) 14:23, 10 April 2012 (UTC)

Adding reference on wiki articles
Adding a well formatted references for these edits[[1]] is very easy to do. While editing any article or a wikipage, on the top of the edit window you will see a toolbar which says "cite" click on it and then click on "templates", then choose the most appropriate template and fill as many details as you can, this will add a well formatted reference that would be helpful in case the link web URL becomes inactive (dead/link rot) after some time. thanks and regards ---- ÐℬigXЯaɣ 01:23, 10 May 2012 (UTC)
Avoid copy pasting news headlines
Hey, Please avoid copy pasting headlines or just statements from news articles as you did in Nirmal Baba. You must paraphrase and write in your own words. Also, please be mindful of not capitalizing words in the middle of statements. Thanks :) Noopur28 (talk) 09:49, 13 May 2012 (UTC)

Vandalism Studies Update - August 2012
Hello, members of the Vandalism Studies Project! As some of us are quite new with the Vandalism Studies project, it would make sense for us to re-read some of the past studies, as well as studies outside the project. Please do so if you have a chance, just so we can get into the groove of things. We're planning on attempting to salvage the Obama study (or possibly simply convert it to a new Romney study), as well as hopefully begin our third study this November. If you have any ideas for Study 3, please suggest them! If you have any questions please post them on the project talk page. Thanks, and happy editing - we can't wait to begin working on the project! --Dan653 (talk) and Theopolisme :)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Related to Jhansi and Banda articles
Hi Adamstraw99,
This is regarding an edit in an article, the city has a separate railway station and it is too far from Jhansi railway station, then why category has been added in the Banda article, forgive me for using different justification.
Also one more query, in the article section, a better citation is asked in case of Amit Singhal. A reliable citation has been added, so can we remove the better citation needed message.

Ila Pant
Dear Editor(Wikipedia),
I am Suresh Pandey a product of Kumaon University. I and my Friends are keen on historical research. Our focus and interest in to study the period of Indian Freedom Struggle and contemporary history – a period stretching over 125 years.
During this period we are mining information and historical photographs of some individuals and families who have contributed towards the Making of Modern India
In this context we are editing the wiki page of Mrs Ila Pant, Former Member of Parliament. It takes a lot of time and effort to locate historical photographs which are relevant and connected to her life. We are all doing jobs in India in the Information Technology sector. It takes a lot of time and efforts to first locate for photographs and then upload them on the Wikipage.
We would request you not to edit the text and the relevant photographs from the wiki page of Mrs Ila Pant, Former Member of Parliament.
Warm Wishes,
(Suresh Pandey)

Reliable sources
Hi, FYI, speakingtree, harekrishna.de, etc. are all not reliable sources. Papers such as this and this (on the subject of astras) are random examples of sources that do meet the requirements. Thanks.--Cpt.a.haddock (talk) (please ping when replying) 10:41, 22 March 2016 (UTC)
- @Cpt.a.haddock, thanks for your message... I am sure that harekrishna.de is definitely not a reliable source because it is obviously biased in favor of vaishnavite (vishnu) view but i took source from speakingtree because it belongs to The Times Group.. well i will keep this in mind in future... --Adamstraw99 (talk) 11:56, 22 March 2016 (UTC)
- "Biased" has nothing to do with it. Reliable sources can be WP:BIASED. But, web sites like this are not reliable, which is an entirely different concept. - Kautilya3 (talk) 13:50, 22 March 2016 (UTC)

- @ Kautilya3, this "reliable sources" discussion on my talk page had nothing to do with you at first place.. And I have not even mentioned you here... I, Myself find personal attacks on wikipedia a very stupid thing.. moreover my work here is primarily fighting vandals and spammers, so be assured i will never make any personal attack unless somebody is REALLY very rude or over-smart on my talk page... thanks.. - Where can I see proof of this popularity? Are they aware of Wikipedia's guidelines on style (WP:MOS)? My name isnotdave (talk/contribs) 06:51, 31 March 2016 (UTC)
- In fact, pageview analysis shows this page recieves, on average, in the past 90 days, six hits a day. This has to stop, otherwise this is being taken to WP:ANI -- if you logged out with intent to dissociate your reverts from your account, that won't improve the situation. My name isnotdave (talk/contribs) 06:59, 31 March 2016 (UTC)
- @Sureshpandey, I Deny your request as it is trying to stop me from editing Wikipedia pages....and i doubt if any other editor will accept it... Also I think you are not aware that once there is a live wiki article it does not belong to you as this space is not your personal blog or personal website.. perhaps ypu need to read --> WP:OWNERSHIP... AND i am amazed to see you are saying proudly that your work is "original research" ..you must be a true newbie as to not read or understand this --> WP:ORIGINAL... Also I request you to kindly address the issues raised in article's talk page instead of other editors' talk pages... IF you can only include significant, recognised and notable work and provide appropriate context of the stuffed images, properly supported with reliable third party sources, nobody will remove content of these (or for that matter, ANY) Article.. may be you also need to read and UNDERSTAND -->> WP:PUSH..Apart from basic guidlines issue... @Adamstraw99 We have been working on several research project & normally our content and research is appreciates by all.
We request you not to be unilateral in making changes to our content or photo visuals.
Content is very well researched & we have no axe to grid to add content which is not factual.
The personalities we are researching on and the wiki pages we are contributing towards are too well known - and the content which has been placed on the respected pages has “NOT ” been contested or challenged by “Any” reader word wide. Infact we have received very positive feedback from the readers.
The photographs are very rare and sourced with great difficulty – so please appreciate the effort it is to make the content page more readable.
Moscow/ Washington DC photographs have been included as part of “official” State visits to both the countries – NOT from a personal trip out of an album!!
For God’s Sake She won from Nainital which is now in Uttarakhand and yes she is the only women in last 66 years of Independent India to have won from Nainital Parliamentary Constituency which is now in Uttarakhand.- We are on same page!!
From now please come on talk page – make your suggestions/ comments before making changes on the wiki page-‘we’ all work for a living and contributing our time “free of cost” towards improving wiki pages- which you/ your team should appreciates- thanks

I had explained you earlier that it does not matter whether your content is getting positive feedback or not... doesn't your mind get the simple and straight thing that you cannot claim ownership of any article on Wikipedia and you will need to provide third party sources for all claims and statements in the article? didn't you read or understand this yet--> WP:OWN.. I Am really fed-up with you... like a mad i am wasting my time trying to make you comply with the numerous guideline i sent you to read in GB Talk page... but even after wasting so much time we are back to square one. I Am going to ignore any message from you on my talk page from now on... I have other things to do but i will respond if you raise any issue or address the issues listed in these articles' talk pages... thanks --Adamstraw99 (talk) 07:16, 9 May 2016 (UTC)
Hyderabadi Muslims - Shahrukh Khan

@Hammad.511234 this section is for people from hyderabad or hyderabadi people.... Also twitter is not a reliable source.. in the same tweet he says he is connected to kashmir, punjab and kolkata too.. so shud all this places claim him to be from there? -- Adamstraw99 (talk) 14:56, 14 May 2016 (UTC)
This section is for people of Hyderabadi Muslim descent, not just Hyderabadi. There's a big difference. Hyderabadi refers to people from the city of Hyderabad, Hyderabadi Muslims are a community of people from the erstwhile Hyderabad Deccan, for example, my cousins in Aurangabad, are Hyderabadi Muslims, and my family friends from Pakistan, who are Muhajjir, have Hyderabadi Muslim descent, not all of us are from the city of Hyderabad. Twitter is a reliable source, especially when it is his twitter, the same tweet does say he is Pathan, and Kashmiri, that means he is of those ethnicities, his wife is Punjabi, he's not, and his cricket team is Kolkota, but he's not Bengali. But he is half Hyderabadi. (talk) 15:02, 14 May 2016 (UTC)
- @ Hammad.511234 , SRK Is NOT From the "community of people from the erstwhile Hyderabad Deccan"... he is from delhi, and twitter and facebook ARE NOT RELIABLE Sources... I Think you also need to learn how to use 'edit summaries' and 'four tildes'.. thanks --Adamstraw99 (talk) 15:09, 14 May 2016 (UTC)
May 2016
Your recent editing history at Hyderabadi Muslims shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
It looks to me like you have crossed 3RR already. You better self-revert. Kautilya3 (talk) 15:15, 14 May 2016 (UTC)
- @ Kautilya3 , I Am of the opinion that Facebook and twitter are not reliable sources to use as reference on Wikipedia... What do you say? Are they?? --Adamstraw99 (talk) 15:20, 14 May 2016 (UTC)
- No they are not. But that does not give you an excuse to cross 3RR. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 15:25, 14 May 2016 (UTC)

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 01:00, 20 October 2016 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, one of your recent edits to Ayurveda was based on a primary source, which is unsutable for the material you were addressing in the article. Furthermore, you appear to have directly copied a portion of the website you cited into the body of the article. It would be better in future if you used your own words, particularly when the source you are using contains numerous gramatical and syntax errors. If you have any questions regarding basic editing practices I'd be happy to discuss them with you on my talk page. Many thanks Edaham (talk) 05:45, 3 May 2017 (UTC)
- Oops - possible edit conflict - this message may not have been meant for you and I may have re-reverted by mistakeEdaham (talk) 05:51, 3 May 2017 (UTC)
- Strike that, double checked - it was your edit. Please leave that content out of the article :)Edaham (talk) 05:51, 3 May 2017 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Ayurveda. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.
Note by the special restrictions applying to this article, you are already eligible for a sanction since you have repeatedly inserted controversial material. Alexbrn (talk) 06:57, 3 May 2017 (UTC)
- @ Alexbrn, thanks for the message. But i had made just two edits on the article in question.... Now I will not touch the article Ayurveda ... i am removing it from my watchlist... thanks Adamstraw99 (talk) 07:15, 3 May 2017 (UTC)

Please do not add or change content, as you did at List of highest-grossing Indian films, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Diff: [4] I don't understand this edit, where you write "in 2000 Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai was highest grosser. mohabbatein was second" Did you not look at the reference, which very clearly indicates Mohabbatein in the #1 spot with a gross of 90 crore? Regardless, you shouldn't be changing data without providing a contrary reference, and in this case, opening a discussion to discuss the matter would probably be a wise idea if there are conflicting opinions on the #1 grossing film of that year. Garautha
Dear Adamstraw99
This in regards to the wiki page title Garautha. I have added to people under heading "Notable People". I am born and brought up in Garautha is aware of their personalities and the work they have done for the local communities. Both of them are renowned in their respective fields of area. I don't know how to create a Page in wiki, help on this.
Requesting you not to delete the details on the Garautha Page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Niranjanvivek (talk • contribs) 07:45, 22 February 2018 (UTC)
- dear Niranjanvivek, please create the articles of "notable people" first... your "original research" or self promotion wont stand in wikipedia... this city article is not your personal blog... thanks, Adamstraw99 (talk) 14

Revision on Sambit Patra
Hi Adamstraw99! Why you undid my revisions where I removed some undefined parameters. If you see the Template:Infobox officeholder, religion, educational_qualification & hometown parameters are undefined. So it's not about the Information removal but undefined parameter removal. Thanks & Regards!--Godric ki Kothri•✉•✎ 08:04, 24 February 2018 (UTC)
- OHO Godric ki Kothri, I thought it was information removal... Adamstraw99 (talk) 08:32, 24 February 2018 (UTC)

Beginner's dilemma
There is a page on a song called "SongExample" from "FilmExample" film released recently. But the fact is that this song is a remastered version of another "SongExample2" song from the "FilmExample2" film which was released about four decades ago in comparison with "FilmExample". There is a page on WP for the song "SongExample". My dilemma is that why this page exists? According to me this page should be deleted and a page for "SongExample2" should be created in which there should be a section called "Remastered version" in which the info for the song "SongExample" should appear. 🤔 Harsh Rathod 05:26, 2 March 2018 (UTC)
- @ Harsh Rathod, please send me direct links of these articles then we will see what can be done... thanks Adamstraw99 (talk) 05:32, 2 March 2018 (UTC)
- @Adamstraw99 (talk): 😏 No, I know you will make those edits on your own. I will do this after two months and will notify you. Harsh Rathod 05:39, 2 March 2018 (UTC)
