Disambiguation link notification for June 29
Hi. When you recently edited 2012 New England Revolution season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ryan Johnson (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Great American Wiknic Barnstar
You are awarded this mighty Great American Wiknic Barnstar for your valorous efforts in helping to organize the 2012 Great American Wiknic in the great city of Boston. -—Pharos (talk) 21:06, 2 July 2012 (UTC) |
A thanks to all of the Pharaohs who've given me this award. It is fully appreciated. (Though there was a small typo, Boston isn't 'the great city...'; it's spelled 'the greatest city'. Minor point. Achowat (talk) 12:58, 3 July 2012 (UTC)

When should we end the discussion? What should we do when it's over? Dan653 (talk) 14:25, 9 July 2012 (UTC)
- I think WikiDiscussion has a way of telling us when it's over. With a small group like ours, it's unlikely that outside voices will come in at the 11th hour, so unlike XfD setting a "deadline" seems unnecessary. When we come to a compromise, when we come to a real consensus, it'll be obvious the choice to make. But I say if there's no consensus in, say, a week, then it can be ignored as "no consensus". Achowat (talk) 14:41, 9 July 2012 (UTC)
- Consensus for what? No consensus to take it down or no consensus to keep it up? Dan653 (talk) 14:43, 9 July 2012 (UTC)
- "No consensus" should resolve to the status quo, which is listing only the Admin userright. Achowat (talk) 14:55, 9 July 2012 (UTC)

NPP
Hi! Do you think that we should add new page patrolling to our program? I think that many students would benefit from it. Your thoughts? Electriccatfish2 (talk) 00:05, 11 July 2012 (UTC)
- That doesn't really seem like our scope. Of course, as an experienced editor, if you want to help inexperienced editors learn the ropes of NPP, no one is going to mind, and if that editor happens to be your CVU Student, I wouldn't mind either. But the core mission of the CVU Academy is to teach students the Four Steps Method of Counter-Vandalism, and I would disagree with any new initiative that is not direct in serving that aim. Achowat (talk) 13:17, 11 July 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks! I saw that Zippy was teaching that to his student, and some of our graduates get involved in NPP. Thanks! Electriccatfish2 (talk) 19:08, 11 July 2012 (UTC)
MfD
Would you please look over your position at the MfD here. That MfD is getting old and it would be easier to close with stronger consensus. Thanks. -- Uzma Gamal (talk) 08:26, 11 July 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you, I have actually been watching that discussion grow and develop, but I'm going to hold my position. The entire piece is unacceptable for WP: namespace and anything but deletion would set a dangerous precedent. But thank you for trying to re-engage me in that discussion.
