What is a Whitelist?

It is a way for an administrator to allow the use, either for one article or for the whole of Wikipedia, of a reference to a site which is on the Wikipedia:Spam blacklist. See MediaWiki talk:Spam-whitelist. JohnCD (talk) 14:05, 3 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
