Unspecified source for Image:DCAU_batsuits.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:DCAU_batsuits.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then you need to specify who owns the copyright, please. If you got it from a website, then a link to the website where it was taken from with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 04:44, 17 January 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — pd_THOR | =/\= | 04:44, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:DCAU_batsuits.jpg
This file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:DCAU_batsuits.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. When you use a generic fair use tag such as {{fair use}} or {{fair use in|article name}}, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — pd_THOR | =/\= | 19:22, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

Your revert of my revision to Wikipedia talk:Vandalism
Hi there. I have restored my edits to the page header because having the header simply say "see Wikipedia:Vandalism for more information" doesn't offer much help to a newbie looking to report vandalism. Please do not revert my or anyone else's edits without offering an explanation as to why the edits were unhelpful. ("I'm starting to agree with Johnny" doesn't qualify as an explanation.) Claude
The reason I specified Claude is that his most recent visions included seeing Claude taking the money from the wallets of patrons at the restaurant, an event that Peter later bears witness to, which is long before the explosion event. I do not understand the removal, moreso due to the lack of a specified reason. –– Lid(Talk) 20:37, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

Sorry, Ace. Perhaps i should have used a better template. I saw some grammar and spelling issues. At the moment, i can't take care of them because i'm not at my home computer. I will cleanup the article after i get home, ok? That'll be about a hour from now. dposse 18:57, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
Heroes
Ace, the template refers (primarily) to the tagged articles. Heroes (TV series) is referred to as an article, not a page, whereas the associated discussion area is a "page". (Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but then - what's the point of changing the template to "page"?) --Ckatzchatspy 23:30, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

Macintosh HD etc...
First of all, a photobucket account is not a decent source for such an image. Second, you did not have to do a full revert on me at Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. I am in the process of either finding an alternate image such as a composite of the TV Tokyo front page for GX or a better version of the logo (also, I'm dealing with Bobabobabo vandalism at the other image, which also has a bad source).—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 23:25, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

Zach and his "coming out of the closet"
Hey, Ace. I'm taking a bit of a risk here, huh? Would it be the understatement of the decade if i said that we rarely see eye to eye? haha. ^_^
Anyway, there's a bit of an issue over Zach and NBCs supposed change of heart over his sexuality. A user put a reference that is very blog-like with alot of implications that NBC/the writers got cold feet over his sexuality, but no real evidence and i just don't agree with it. So, i would respectfully ask for your opinion, since you created that new wikiproject.
thanks, Ace. dposse 01:29, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
Template HS1
Ace, I've restored your comments on the template talk page, and used "strike out" to indicate that you've retracted them. Ordinarily, it wouldn't be an issue if you rework your comment. However, in cases where subsequent comments from other editors refer to them, the suggested action is to "remove" them with the strikeout markup. Thanks. --Ckatzchatspy 19:55, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

Dick in a Box reversion
Hey, I was wondering why you reverted Crumbsucker's edits to Dick in a Box -- what s/he added was completely legit and cited. I believe I was the one to remove the same material earlier on when it was uncited, but the MTV news article that Crumbsucker provided works perfectly fine to support it. The Haitian
The change I made regarding the Haitian's alliances are based purely on opinion. Furthermore, he disobeyed Mr. Bennet in favor of Clair as to not erase her memories. That in itself should be proof enough that his alliance to her, if only because of her powers, is stronger than that of his alliance to Mr. Bennet. Please take proper thought before reporting users of vandalism next time. Thank you. Stone11375 13:49, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

Re: Re: the Haitian
At this point, our argument is null, as you can see on the current version of The Haitian, but if you would indulge me this one last question. Going behind one's back for another, in your personal opinion as another fan of the show Heroes, does that or does it not constitute that your alliance for the latter is stronger than that of the former? Warning restoration
Please don't revert warnings back onto a user's page after they have removed them. This is considered a form of harassment and strongly discouraged. Even if the warnings are valid, once the person has seen them they have fulfilled their purpose. Re-instating them after that is a misuse of the talk page, edit warring, and needlessly inflammatory. --CBD 11:22, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
WP:Heroes page redesign idea
Hope your weekend has been going well! After our previous talk about creating more images and such for the Heroes WikiProject, I put together a possible redesign of the project page at my sandbox. I got inspiration from several WikiProjects (mainly Art, Biography, and Blogging). The table for the templates isn't working out exactly as I had hoped, so I may take out the middle column of that table, then move the about and guideline sections to the top of the right section to make up lost room. Overall though, what are your thoughts? How can it be improved? Should it be used at all? - fmmarianicolon | Talk 07:00, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Sandpunch.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Sandpunch.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. You've spent more time on Wiki, editing, than I. The following changes from the CassCain article: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Cassandra_Cain&diff=106498498&oldid=106498385 Sorta suck. A lot. That paragraph about the Supergirl thing, as well as some of the synopsis on OYL. I'm not sure, however, how to fix it, or condense it. At this point it better belongs in its own article, or in an article about OYL, since it's so large. But Wikipedia is not an Issue-Recap site, so... Redirect of Neros Gundam
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Neros Gundam, by RockMFR, another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Neros Gundam is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Neros Gundam, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Neros Gundam itself. Fair use rationale for Image:561541_front.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:561541_front.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is either no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use, or else the rationale given is not valid. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MER-C 12:00, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Better Halves
An editor has nominated Better Halves, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Better Halves and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 21:59, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

If you believe the image to be acceptable for fair use according to Wikipedia policy, please provide a rationale explaining as much, in accordance with the fair use rationale guideline, on the image description page. Some examples can be found at Wikipedia:Use rationale examples. Please also consider using {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags/Non-free. Thank you. Project FMF (talk) 00:40, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
