removal of notability tag
[edit]Hey, Abhayoct13th! It's best to allow another editor to remove the notability tag from Abhijeet Srivastava, rather than you removing it, since you are the creator of the article. When another editor believes the sourcing has proven the subject's notability, they will remove the tag. --valereee (talk) 14:35, 12 May 2019 (UTC)
- Thankyou Valeree for your valuable inputs and I totally agree that the creator itself should not remove the notability tag, sorry I did that. I just thought that the refrences I provided would be enough to ensure notability.
- I'm new to wikipedia and I'm also not much aware about the policies. I would love to be corrected and helped about my article.
- Abhayoct13th (talk) 14:51, 12 May 2019 (UTC)
- Abhayoct13th, if you go to the article's talk page, you'll find a post I made about the sources. Wikipedia requires that a subject be notable, and that's proved by showing the subject has received signification coverage in reliable sources. Significant coverage is generally understood to be at least three lengthy articles that are primarily about the subject. Reliable sources are things like major newspapers, magazines, etc. Simple listing sites or sales sites like iTunes and Amazon don't count toward notability. Affiliated sources such as the record label the subject's music is sold through don't count toward notability.
-
- To discuss the specifics in this case, let's move this discussion to the talk page at Talk:Abhijeet Srivastava. --valereee (talk) 16:02, 12 May 2019 (UTC)

- I got it now. Thanks again.

[edit]Hello, I'm ThadeusOfNazereth. I noticed that you recently removed content from Jaggi Vasudev without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. [edit]If you continue to remove duly sourced information from our articles on spurious grounds and/or insert templates/tags to the same effect, you can be topic-banned from the area. ∯WBGconverse 15:24, 22 January 2020 (UTC)
- I understand everything WBG. Duly sourced information is really very true. Just to tell you, I got too much afraid of your warning. As you instructed, I shall certainly not edit your article anymore because I'm afraid of being topic banned. Editors like you work day and night to provide most neutral information that is not biased in any manner and use your authority without any misuse. I'm glad to see you doing this as I'm not able to do so, as I have other things to do in my life. Please keep doing this and making the platform better. This platform is sustained only because of people like you. Thanks Abhayoct13th (talk) 16:05, 22 January 2020 (UTC)
- Cease with the passive-aggressiveness and edit-warring. ∯WBGconverse 09:22, 23 January 2020 (UTC)
- Cease with foul language first please. Your language on the history of page Jaggi Vasudev says everything about you. This platform does not belong to one person and doesn't foster personal opinions. Abhayoct13th (talk) 09:34, 23 January 2020 (UTC)
- WBG, the reply I talked was of your fellow editor Winged Blades of Godric. Not yours. Apology for that. Your are unbiased, very much I think. No problems with you :) Abhayoct13th (talk) 09:42, 23 January 2020 (UTC)
- But my statement "This platform does not belong to one person and doesn't foster personal opinions." Is applicable to everyone here. Abhayoct13th (talk) 09:43, 23 January 2020 (UTC)
- I am Winged Blades of Godric and my initials are thus rendered as WBG. I have opened a t/p section, get consensus in your favor and re-insert the tag. ∯WBGconverse 09:59, 23 January 2020 (UTC)
