This page has just been recreated, and there also appears to be a copy at this location, where it has resided for the past several months (and appears to be owned by this very user). Inconveniently, research.aol.com appears to be offline. --Quietust 21:21, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
- As duly noted by User:Sam nead, Near Duplicate Algorithms is a duplicate (pun absolutely intended) of http://www.ir.iit.edu/~abdur/Research/Duplicate.html. What has been said above by User:Stephen still stands, so - since there was no activity by User:Abdur in the last
month or twoyear - I have no choice but to mark it as a copyright violation. GregorB (talk) 18:41, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
- Near Duplicate Algorithms has just been deleted. If you'd like to restore it, there are two steps:
- Copyright status of the original text has to be settled beforehand in one way or another. See WP:COPYRIGHT.
- I believe it is possible to undelete the page upon request (at the moment I'm not sure about the exact procedure). Failing that, I've saved a copy of the source.
- If you have any questions, by all means contact me at my talk page. GregorB (talk) 16:24, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
