Comment regarding Actors to portray the Joker
[edit]Hi, Abc85. You recently created an article named Actors to portray the Joker. As Joker (comics) already contains the information in your article, I've redirected it to Joker (comics). - I did likewise with your article on actors who have portrayed Two-Face; however, since I felt that the article name was unlikely to be a search query, I simply deleted the article and added the content to the Two-Face article. DS 15:03, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

- Greetings. The copy in the article, as follows, didn't mention where the information came from, so I assumed it was a vanity article:
- "Anton Gorodetsky is a member of the Light-forces.
- Anton Gordetsky was born in about 1970 and decided to join the light forces, despite having dark friends. In 1992, he suspected his wife of being pregnant by another man and decided to go to a prophesses to do an external abortion. However, the forces of Light intervened and Day Watch made a record of that.
- Sometime in 2000 Anton Gordetsky joined the Night Watch. In 2004, the boy he wanted to abort was sensed by both sides and both wanted to get him. Yegor (the boy) was 12 years old. The Dark Forces used the vampires to get Yegor but failed thanks to Anton Gorodetsky. Then, the Light Forces went to try and get Yegor. Anton Gordetsky was sent and he probably discovered that Yegor was actually his son.
- A battle ensued between the forces of Light and Dark and the Light were about to win when the Day Watch stated that Anton wanted to abort Yegor. Yegor then realized that the Light was hypocritical and joined the Dark Forces."
- It doesn't assert anywhere that this is a character in a movie, or a fictional character at all. For an article like this to survive, it has to provide a context for the general reader. Regards, --Fire Star 16:30, 4 April 2006 (UTC)

- My apoligies, I did not check IMDB on this; a quick google indicated 1946. Please read Talk:Timothy Dalton -- apparently 1946 is the correct birthyear. Again I am sorry for not assuming good faith. Others please disregard this warning; I am leaving it here so the conversation thread will remain intact. --Chris (talk) 01:52, 19 April 2006 (UTC)
Coitus interruptus
[edit]Your edit ended up putting two sentences that said the same thing one after another: "the natural instinct to ejaculate deeply within the vagina" "a strong muscular push to push the penis right deep into the vagina"
It's redundent. The second sentence is more graphic and less appropriate for an encyclopedia article, so that was the one I deleted. I hope that clarifies my reasoning.Lyrl 21:59, 19 April 2006 (UTC)
Viktor Kozlov (politician) has been proposed for deletion. An editor felt this person might not be notable enough for an article. Please review Wikipedia:Notability (people) for the relevant guidelines. If you can improve the article to address these concerns, please do so.
If no one objects to the deletion within five days by removing the "prod" template, the article may be deleted without further discussion. If you remove the prod template, the article will not be deleted, but if an editor is still not satisfied that it meets Wikipedia guidelines, it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. [edit]Please read wikipedia:Copyrights carefully. You don't own the image even if you stole (er., sorry, downloaded) it. I am aware this is the way how they operate in Moskovsky Pyasatel. But in wikipedia copyrights are supposed to be respected. `'mikka (t) 16:29, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
From kultura.ru:

It is very good that you are adding articles about Russian things. But please follow the rules of the game. `'mikka (t) 16:47, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
Also please stop adding fictional dates of birth/death based on your own calculations based on unsure data. This is called original research. `'mikka (t) 16:52, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
You have troubles in math, colleague. A person 10 year old who died in 1993 may be born in 1983 or 1982, because "10 year old" may mean 10 years and 11 months. `'mikka (t) 17:07, 26 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit]That's a mistake on my part. The edit before me had changed 1927 to 1917 in the infobox, leaving 1918 in the intro and 1917 in the infobox. So, I edited it to restore the 1927 (I checked the Japanese wiki, and must have just registered the 27 at the end of the date (1918年5月27日)) and also bring the opening inline with the infobox. Thanks for your message. Neier 23:30, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Aleksandr Demyanenko, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Abc85! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 94 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Thanks!--DASHBot (talk) 21:41, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
The article Jake Evans (musician) has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Sparthorse (talk) 18:24, 6 November 2011 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Jake Evans (musician)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Jake Evans (musician) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Night of the Big Wind talk 22:13, 29 November 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Hi Abc85,
In November you received a message about either "Nomination for deletion" or "Proposed deletion" of an article you created. I'd like to ask you a few quick questions:
- Was the message helpful? Were the instructions clear and easy to follow?
- If not, how do you think the message could be improved?
- What do you think about the deletion process in general? Do you understand how to contest a deletion?
You can feel free to answer on my talk page or send me your response by email (mpinchukwikimedia.org). (I won't quote you or link your answers to your username if you don't feel comfortable with that.) Your feedback is incredibly useful for improving the content of deletion notifications, so please take a minute to think about and answer these questions. Thank you!
