Topic Selection

[edit]

Hi Aaron. Someone else in the class has already selected Paleoindians in Central America as a Wikipedia topic. You are certainly welcome to focus on this or a related topic for your termpaper, but you would need to choose a different Wikipedia entry. You might consider writing about a specific Paleoindian archaeological site, such as Guardiria (Archaeological Site), Costa Rica or Florencia (Archaeological Site), Costa Rica (both of which are in Costa Rica). Your best references in English on this would be Snarskis 1978 article about Turrialba in American Antiquity and Georges Pearson's 2002 KU Ph.D. dissertation (which you can find listed in the online catalog). I hope this helps!

Please let me know if there's anything I can do to help you decide on an appropriate topic for the assignment. --Hoopes (talk) 21:42, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
