User talk:ABShipper
- I like to keep conversations together, for easy reading, so I'll try to keep all of the text of a conversation on the Talk Page where it started, this means:
- I will answer to comments made on this Talk Page, on this same page.
- I might even move a comment you drop on my Talk Page to yours (if it is in response to a comment I left on your Talk Page), and my answer will be in your Talk Page as well.
- Please! Let me know if this upsets you in any way.
- Please sign and date your entries by inserting -- ~~~~ at the end.

Mensaje de un wikipedista norteamericano
[edit]¡Saludos, compañero de Wikipedia! I'm coming to Argentina soon and wanted to see if any of my fellow Wikipedians were interested in meeting up, etc...I'm flying into BsAs on Jan. 25th and I don't know many people there, so if you'd be into talking/getting together, let me know. Feel free to leave a message on my user page...seeya around - Paul 22:32, 3 January 2006 (UTC) P.S. I was a "shipper" myself in regards to the X-Files, as I thought that was one instance in which a relationship could be handled intelligently and maturely without ruining the show. Why it went off the air is beyond me...X-Files forever!
re: VfD notice
[edit]Thanks for catching that. I'd closed a number of deletion discussions that day. Normally, I cut-and-paste the discussion page title into the link on the article's Talk page. Apparently, I hit crtl-V and didn't notice that the clipboard was still holding the link from the prior discussion. Anyway, I've now corrected the link. Thanks again. Happy Birthday!
[edit]Because I won't be here on your actual birthday, I'd like to wish you one today! JaredW 16:04, 17 February 2006 (UTC)

I have a fascination for this; I just wanted to discuss the place with ya. What time of year did you go? Do you ever feel like its the end of the world when you are there? --NicAgent 02:21, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
- I don't remember exactly, but probably went around January or Feb, since those are the usual 'vacations' months where I live. It was very cold for summer, but makes sense being so far south. Actually it did not feel like the end of the world, but just being there was great, the air was so clean I loved breathing it (this is true for the whole south area of Argentina). Why your fascination? --A/B 'Shipper 女 (talk) 13:54, 19 May 2006 (UTC)
Input request
[edit]Hi ABShipper, there is some discussion currently going on here, and I noticed you have {{User anime}} on your userpage. If you are not too busy, I would appreciate it if you could drop some of your ideas on how to reform the portal on the aforementioned talk page. Thanks! « ANIMUM » 22:08, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

Wikimedia Stories Project
[edit]Aloha!
My name is Victor and I work with the Wikimedia Foundation, the non-profit organization that supports Wikipedia. We're chronicling the inspiring stories of the Wikipedia community around the world, including those from readers, editors, and donors. Stories are absolutely essential for any non-profit to persuade new people to support the cause, and we know the vast network of people who use Wikipedia have so much to share.
I find stories that drive our annual fundraising efforts. It's important to convey the incredible diversity of people who've come to rely upon Wikipedia every day.
I'd really like the opportunity to interview you to tell your story, with the possibility of using it in our materials, on our community websites, or as part of this year’s fundraiser to encourage others to support Wikipedia.
I will be in Buenos Aires from the 10th - 11th of March 2012.
I'm hoping you will elaborate on your story with me. Please let me know if you're inclined to take part in the Wikipedia Stories Project and we'll set up a good time to discuss further.
Thank you, Victor Grigas user:Victorgrigas vgrigas@wikimedia.org Victor Grigas (talk) 23:53, 31 January 2012 (UTC)
