Wasted Love

[edit]

The "writer(s)" on that page were not linked because I wished not for that to be so. The "writer(s)" list for other Wikipedia pages for other songs by other artists, created by other Wikipedia users, are not linked either you know.... :Ī Just sayin'. :Č — Preceding unsigned comment added by Infopage100 (talkcontribs) 10:15, 13 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! :)

[edit]

Hello AAron 8967, About that page you recently edited, Children of the Wild.... I created that page to the best of my ability. But it never occurred to me how unnecessary it was to add that "chart performance" information; my supererogatory behaviour was simply active again. Thank you for fixing such a vice. I appreciate your take on the page that I created, Children of the Wild. Also, I have just one question, "do you know the name of the unknown artist that provides uncredited vocals for Mike Mago & KC Lights' song "Daylight" ? Or maybe, the writers of the song? I'm trying to create a page for the song, but can't find a source that has that information available. If you don't know this information, do you know a source where I can find this information out? If you do, please let me know. And once again, thank you for your edit. :)

                                    Sincerely, Infopage100

My Way

[edit]

Dear AAron 8967, you recently edited the page "My Way (Calvin Harris song)," purging all of the genres within the infobox, but one, which was tropical house. This presumably means you believe that "My Way" is but a tropical house song only. Well, it's not. DJs such as, Kygo and Matoma are the definition of pure tropical house. But this? This is not that; this song is simply a genre bender. The song may partially be relatively similiar to that of the tropical house genre, but this song expands way beyond that genre alone; sampling deep house's signature sound, and ultimately being quite an uptempo track for it to be strictly labelled, "tropical house" only. Your actions towards this page leave me to consider your knowledge for the song, i.e., I'm questioning the fact of whether or not you've listened to the song. Have you listened to the song?

Here are some examples of pure tropical house tracks. If you disagree with the suggestions that I've listed below, I might assume your tropical house judgement to be false, considering these are the tracks that boosted the tropical house genre's popularity in the first place.

 "Firestone"
by Kygo featuring Conrad Sewell.
 "I Took A Pill In
 Ibiza" (SeeB Remix)
by Mike Posner
 "Old Thing Back"
by Matoma & The Notorious B.I.G. featuring Ja Rule and
Ralph Tresvant.
 "Show Me Love"
by Sam Feldt featuring Kimberly Anne.

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Kid Ink discography, without citing a reliable source using an inline citation that clearly supports the material. The burden is on the person wishing to keep in the material to meet these requirements, as a necessary (but not always sufficient) condition. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 20:56, 17 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Music Is the Weapon, Axwell /\ Ingrosso

[edit]

Per your edits today, multiple sources (including one I have provided a citation to) state Music Is the Weapon will still feature "Know No Better" even after its own EP has been released. In fact, a Google cache result shows the Complex article was amended from its current version to state so after initially only talking about the EP. EPs can sometimes be a taste of upcoming albums; we don't know it won't be included on the album as well yet.

As for Axwell /\ Ingrosso, "We Come We Rave We Love" is currently credited to the name "Axwell /\ Ingrosso" on streaming and other online services, and it was still a single, so should stay where it was. If the issue is that it was credited to "Axwell & Sebastian Ingrosso", clearly, in this case, it shows that "Axwell & Sebastian Ingrosso" was intended to mean the current credit, just that it was not used at the time. Then again, the "/\" stylised credit was still used at the time, as seen on the 2014 EP's cover. Ss112 00:02, 2 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
