Welcome!
[edit]Hello! I noticed your contributions and wanted to welcome you to the Wikipedia community. I hope you like it here and decide to stay. You are welcome to edit anonymously; however, creating an account is free and has several benefits (for example, the ability to create pages, upload media and edit without one's IP address being visible to the public).
As you get started, you may find this short tutorial helpful:
Alternatively, the contributing to Wikipedia page covers the same topics.
If you have any questions, we have a friendly space where experienced editors can help you here:

[edit]Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Oakland Athletics relocation to Las Vegas, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. -Lemonaka 02:33, 10 July 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. The Herald (Benison) (talk) 03:05, 24 November 2023 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Teacake, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. The Herald (Benison) (talk) 03:09, 24 November 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Hello,Wikipedia has no position on serial commas per its Manual of Style, so adding them as you did to Jamey Johnson is not helpful. Graham87 (talk) 14:34, 17 January 2024 (UTC)
Wikipedia also uses logical quote punctuation. Unlike the way I learned in school, commas and periods do not go inside the quote unless they are actually part of the quoted text itself. DMacks (talk) 02:16, 26 January 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at Valley Grove (Wheeling Township, Minnesota), you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Please follow the advice given to you last month. [edit]You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you make disruptive edits to Wikipedia contrary to the Manual of Style, as you did at Alan Parsons. See MOS:OXFORD. Binksternet (talk) 19:26, 9 June 2024 (UTC)

[edit]You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary, as you did at Reel-to-reel audio tape recording. --Picard's Facepalm • Made It So Engage! • 19:45, 8 July 2024 (UTC)
Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! --Picard's Facepalm • Made It So Engage! • 19:46, 8 July 2024 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
