[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at BMW 3 Series (E36). Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. ―Mandruss ☎ 21:28, 9 March 2019 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
- The image "1992 BMW 320i (15538594776) (cropped).jpg" shows a rusted E36 sedan with worn-out rocker panels. This unacceptable image you seem to love does not reprent the E36 by any means.
- As 1292simon already said in the discussion page:
- << "1994-96_BMW_320i_sedan_(Australia).jpg" shows a car in better condition and with a less busy background than the image "1992 BMW 320i (15538594776) (cropped).jpg">>
- So,i strongly advise you to consider that refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at "BMW 3 Series (E36)" wiki page. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- A BMW E36 sedan owner.
- Cheers.
- Hello sir/madam. I agree with your reasoning about the image. The issue is a hot topic at the moment and it is hard to follow with all the anonymous editors involved, so it would be very helpful if you are able to create a Wiki account for this discussion.
PS Thanks for your message about this on my Talk Page, I really appreciate you clarifying the situation. Cheers, 1292simon (talk) 22:33, 9 March 2019 (UTC)

- Hi 1292Simons, you're welcome.Like you noticed in a discussion around the E36 wiki page, the german E36 wiki page shows a presentable E36-Sedan.By the way, i found the Vauxford arguments very doubtful and un-understandable about the red-rusty-worn-out car...So i decided to intercome. ;)Concerning creating an account, i prefer keeping my freedom for the moment.Wikipedia knows my IP address and this is sufficient,I think.Salute.
- and you obviously don't understand what consensus is, multiple of editors prefer the red car over the others and so we kept it. You simply being disruptive and very likely going to get a block. --Vauxford (talk) 22:53, 9 March 2019 (UTC)
- And you dare talking about consensus? I think YOU are simply being disruptive, making false accusations on 1292Simons's talk page and thus,"very likely going to get a block".Salute.
- You can't get blocked simply by accusing someone, what your doing is far worst. --Vauxford (talk) 23:03, 9 March 2019 (UTC)
- You are right: Preferring a normal presenting car image is "far worse" than accusing wrongly someone and loving rusty worn-out red car...A little like your definition of "consensus".Just lovable!Salute.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at BMW 3 Series (E36), you may be blocked from editing. You are currently deep into edit warring territory. This needs to stop immediately or you are likely to be blocked. Ad Orientem (talk) 23:49, 9 March 2019 (UTC)

. Nick-D (talk) 03:51, 10 March 2019 (UTC)- If this is a shared IP address and you are an uninvolved editor with a registered account, you may continue to edit by logging in.
- I've set a longer than standard block duration due to this talk page post in which this editor stated that they would use an IP account to continue editing warring their preferred photo. A registered account with a similar single focused would be blocked for an indefinite period for such conduct. Nick-D (talk) 03:52, 10 March 2019 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
