Welcome to Wikipedia!
I'm Walter Görlitz, one of the other editors here, and I hope you decide to stay and help contribute to this amazing repository of knowledge. Although you're free to perform most tasks on Wikipedia without registering, it's highly recommended you create an account as there are many added benefits. It's private and secure and it's also free, simple, and quick to do.

There are many ways you can contribute to Wikipedia. Here are a few ideas:

To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. If you register an account, you can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you could put a link to it on your user page.
Please remember to:
- Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes
~~~~
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your IP address linked to your contributions page (however, if you create an account, your IP address will be hidden and you will be able to build a custom signature that can link to your own user page), a link to this IP's talk page, and a timestamp. - Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
Sincerely, Walter Görlitz (talk) 00:00, 21 March 2020 (UTC) (Leave me a message)
[edit]Hello, I'm NinjaRobotPirate. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, The Fearless Four (film), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 03:54, 27 August 2020 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Hydra (Otep album), you may be blocked from editing. Binksternet (talk) 22:24, 4 October 2021 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Work (Rihanna song). Binksternet (talk) 16:50, 16 October 2021 (UTC)
[edit]Hello, I'm FCGreg. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Skillet_(band), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. You seem to have a problem with adding unsourced material to articles. I have removed your recent additions to the Skillet_(band) article. FCGreg (talk) 23:49, 24 June 2022 (UTC)
[edit]You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at Game Face. Binksternet (talk) 03:07, 6 July 2022 (UTC)
Deliberately introducing incorrect information?! It literally says in the link "Rock It" by Master P peaked in 2002 at number 72 on the BILLBOARD charts. It didn't even enter the charts until then either. Also, making one little small edit isn't vandalism. Vandalism is intentionally defacing and/or causing destruction to something, which I did not commit as what I put were facts. Seriously, click on the link.
[edit]Hello, I'm Riverbend21. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Hamlet (band) seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
