[edit]Hello, I'm JalenFolf. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Nicolas Rolin—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did at Bảo Đại, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 04:20, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Parag Khanna, you may be blocked from editing. '''[[User:CanonNi]]'''

Please slow down!
[edit]Hi,
Please slow down when deleting material tagged as unsourced. In many cases the material is valid and just needs to be sourced. This takes more effort than deleting, but its also much more useful. For example, your recent edits at "Sunshine Policy" deleted material that was easy to verify and source with a few minutes of googling. Likewise, your edit at "Valéry Giscard d'Estaing" deleted sourced material for want of a quote that you could have provided from the source given. Deleting unsourced but valid and verifiable information isn't helpful.
Best wishes, Jean-de-Nivelle (talk) 10:00, 21 April 2024 (UTC)
For example, the material you've deleted again from "Nicolas Rolin" leaves a paragraph beginning, "However all three of these brides were dead within a few years" when there is now no prior mention of brides in the article. Although the article needs citations, it was correct and more comprehensible before you deleted the uncited material. The material can be sourced, but it will take a little work and some translation from the French. Please stop doing this. It's much more useful to leave tagged material like this for others to reference than it is to delete it.

And again, the material you removed at "Bim Afolami" was easy to source. It takes a little more time and effort to source facts than it does to delete them, but if the tagged material is not contentious, please leave it for others to source, or find sources yourself. Deleting it isn't helpful.

[edit]Hello, I'm RodRabelo7. I noticed that you recently removed content from Mohyeddin without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. . Ad Orientem (talk) 23:08, 18 May 2024 (UTC)- If this is a shared IP address and you are an uninvolved editor with a registered account, you may continue to edit by logging in.
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
