Nationalities

[edit]

Please read the guidelines on UK nationalities. Changing the nationality on a person's article without good cause or reason, simply to align it with your own opinions is generally not a good idea. What has Ramsay said on the matter? Anything? Otherwise, I'd say "British" is a good starting point for someone who was born in Scotland, but has lived most of his life in England. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 12:48, 22 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for the late reply. However, it’s actually quite funny you mention “What has Ramsay said on the matter?” as he’s disputed several times on programmes that he’s Scottish, not British — or English. Scottish is in fact a nationality — albeit not a citizenship. 3aadamrbx (talk) 11:01, 9 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Iain Greenshields has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Adds no value. Ian Greenshields is already mentioned in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moderator_of_the_General_Assembly_of_the_Church_of_Scotland If the creator plans on adding information later, they should draft an article instead.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. The page is intended to be a Wikipedia page for Iain Greenshields as an individual, including his upbringing, career, etc. More to be done. 3aadamrbx (talk) 00:46, 20 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
