COIN

[edit]

Hi, I appreciate what you were trying to do at COIN but I have revdelled it. I'm not trying to hide anything and it's not because your complaint is without merit, but your report links to an off-wiki site and that cannot be posted on-wiki. I have sent an email to paid-en-wp@wikipedia.org on your behalf so they can investigate this. Clovermoss🍀 (talk) 03:03, 17 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It occurs to me that you might not be familiar with the terms I used last night before I went to sleep. They would be Wikipedia:Revision deletion (although that information is now oversighted). Basically, linking to someone's profile on external website (regardless of whether or not it is actually them), is considered personal information. Other private channels deal with this information instead of a publicly visible noticeboard. There is a header at WP:COIN that explains this. Since you're an IP and can't email people, I did it for you. I encourage you to create an account so you can do such things yourself. It's fairly easy and only requires a username and password. Many email services also let you create accounts that don't require you to disclose your identity, if you're worried about that. Let me know if you have any further questions.
