Alzheimer's disease

[edit]

Regarding your recent edit to 'Alzheimer's disease': I understand that you might have seen the article and said 'where's the "simple" explanation of what Alzheimer's is'. The problem is that "Alshimer's is an old person disease that makes them forget what to do" is the popular conception of the disorder, but is too simplistic an explanation. This is already handled by the passage "The most striking early symptom is loss of short term memory (amnesia)" and 'old people' is too subjective a phrase to use, unfortunately. --User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 15:10, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Template:2008 Democratic presidential candidates do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the [[talk:Template:2008 Democratic presidential candidates|article's talk page]] before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: 'img[0-9]+\.imageshack\.us/img[0-9]+/.*\.(jpg|jpeg|gif|png|svg)' . If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image or a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file.
Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! SquelchBot (talk) 15:36, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits to January 12

[edit]

Dear 204.29.71.9,
Some of your edits on the page January 12 have been undone by PseudoBot, a robot built to keep the date pages tidy. The problems are:

The person you added doesn't seem to have a Wikipedia page.

If the page exists, check that you've spelled and capitalized the name the same way as the article, and try again. If it doesn't yet exist, read this page carefully before creating it. In particular, you shouldn't create a page about yourself or anyone you know personally. If this bot has got it wrong (as can unfortunately happen), please accept its author's apologies, and (if you would like) leave a message on this talk page with the details, so it can be improved. Please see this page for help. PseudoBot (talk) 20:45, 14 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. While everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your contributions, such as your recent edit to The Three Musketeers, did not appear to be constructive and was automatically reverted by DASHBot.

  • Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • DASHBot produces few false positives, but they do happen. If you believe the bot has reverted your edit wrongly, it is helpful if you report the error so the bot does not make the same mistake again. Please:

Information icon Hello, I'm Wesoree. I noticed that you recently removed content from Maxine Hong Kingston without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.
