Hello 2001:558:6045:A0:391F:B005:179D:8DD9, I believe the edit I made was correct, and I know it was correct because I am the credible resource, I am a student at John McGlashan College and got bored so I decided to write about the buildings of the school and other things. I can't find any resources on the internet about the school buildings buildings and thought this could be the first. Cheers Vivian.

You are welcome to continue editing without logging in, but many editors recommend that you create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits such as the ability to create articles. For a full outline and explanation of the benefits that come with creating an account, please see this page. If you edit without a username, your IP address (2001:558:6045:A0:391F:B005:179D:8DD9) is used to identify you instead.
In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Question
[edit]Hey are you a Recent Chances Patroller? You seem to do a lot of vandal revision! Good Job! ♠♥♣Shaun9876♠♥♣ Talk 01:48, 31 October 2012 (UTC)
- Been doing it for years. 2001:558:6045:A0:391F:B005:179D:8DD9 (talk) 01:57, 31 October 2012 (UTC)
New Page Patrolling
[edit]Hi. Thank you for patrolling new pages. With the exception of blatant attack pages and hoaxzs, pleae do not tag pages for deletion within 1 minute of creation - we will not delete them that quickly untill we are sure that they will not be expanded. Thanks. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 02:40, 31 October 2012 (UTC)
- You may take as much time to delete as you wish. I will tag articles as I see fit. 2001:558:6045:A0:391F:B005:179D:8DD9 (talk) 02:41, 31 October 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Hi 2001:558:6045:A0:391F:B005:179D:8DD9. Thank you for your work on patrolling new pages and tagging for speedy deletion. I'm just letting you know that I declined your deletion request for Invisible Waves X, a page that you tagged for speedy deletion, because the criterion you used or the reason you gave does not cover this kind of page. Please take a moment to look at the suggested tasks for patrollers and review the criteria for speedy deletion. Particularly, the section covering non-criteria. Such pages are best tagged with proposed deletion, proposed deletion for biographies of living persons, or sent to the appropriate deletion discussion. - If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Your recent editing history at Mark Cahill shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your IP address being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 20:04, 31 October 2012 (UTC)
The other editor is repeatedly removing maintenance templates. As the warnings for TDEL states, removing them without correcting the deficiences may be considered vandalism. Thus, I am reverting vandalism and my edits aren't subject to 3RR. 2001:558:6045:A0:391F:B005:179D:8DD9 (talk) 20:07, 31 October 2012 (UTC)
Hello 2001:558:6045:A0:391F:B005:179D:8DD9. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Frasilah, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: this is not a hoax - aearch link provided on talk page shows the word, and Google finds it as well. Thank you. JohnCD (talk) 22:14, 31 October 2012 (UTC)
- Glad it all worked out. 2001:558:6045:A0:391F:B005:179D:8DD9 (talk) 22:49, 31 October 2012 (UTC)
Hyde Amendment
[edit]Next time, please include a comment so you don't look like a vandal. Cheers! --averagejoe (talk) 00:23, 2 November 2012 (UTC)
- So you admit you didn't look at the actual edit and just assumed an IP editor must be the vandal? Sad, really sad. 2001:558:6045:A0:391F:B005:179D:8DD9 (talk) 00:26, 2 November 2012 (UTC)
- Didn't admit anything of the kind. Didn't even say anything about vandalism. What I did say was that there is a box below called "Edit summary". That's where you "(Briefly describe the changes you have made)". If you go back to the article, you'll see that a smart user actually did things the right way.Now you have been schooled, and you don't need to be sad any more. Don't take any wooden nickels. --averagejoe (talk) 16:52, 3 November 2012 (UTC)

Creating an account
[edit]Just out of curiosity, is there any reason why you aren't editing with a registered account? You might already know this, but doing so allows you to use tools that makes some common tasks less tedious. Thank you for your contributions. TheArguer SAY HI! 03:16, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
- Ditto. Get an account and discuss on talk page. COI in itself does not require complete removal of material. Yworo (talk) 03:42, 3 December 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Yworo. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Hallucinogen without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Yworo (talk) 03:46, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
Halluginogens
[edit]My students are currently working on a Wikipedia contributions project. You recently undid an edit on the Hallucinogen page by User:Augustolosilla . Would you mind clarifying your reasons for undoing the edit? This way the students are able to learn about edit criteria and therefore improve their contributions.

This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
