[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Drinking bird has been reverted.
Your edit here to Drinking bird was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rq3K6Ma0wIU) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 20:31, 14 April 2011 (UTC)

Please unblock the central library from wiki edit
[edit]199.60.104.18 (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
(1)I agree not to post on thiomersal page. It's been open to edit for talk for a while and I have not posted there and this was even before the ban, this shows that I left it be. I have not posted on thiomersal controversy discussion page during the 72 hour ban, and I agree not to post there until dec 7. (2) I agree not to post in the thiomersal talk page (3)I served my 72 hour ban, should have ended. (4) Saying thiomersal is grandfathered in is not orginal research, as I keep reading it again in other webpages concerning thiomersal, and entered a discussion to see why that was, and it's important. (5) NO SECTION WAS CREATED IN WIKI ADMISTRATION BOARDS FOR THIS BAN. (6) I only did what I thought was right. (7) I AGREE TO ABIDE BY THE CONDITIONS YOU SET.
Decline reason:
Responses to each of your points:
- Not editing an article during an edit war is a good start, however that's not the only issue that led to your blocking.
- So... you're agreeing to avoid the topic entirely? A self-imposed topic ban would help, however as an IP editor it's easily circumvented and we need to address the underlying issues of battleground mentality as well.
- No, you haven't... the block was placed 28 hours ago, and last I checked, 28 was less than 72.
- You need to provide sources that explicitly say this; Wikipedia reports what's already been printed, we don't draw up our own views from that information. I notice as well there have been some concerns about the sources you've been providing. Please be sure to double check the links to guidelines and policies that others have been giving to you.
- Doesn't matter, and caps lock don't help to make your point. Stop using them. A report at AN, ANI, or any other noticeboard is not necessary to issue a block, any uninvolved administrator may do so at their own discretion.
- And this is the root of the problem. Regardless of whether you think you're right, you must be willing to listen and accept the opinions of others. There often isn't a "right answer" when it comes to writing these articles, and treating these discussions as though there is one (and especially when you refuse to acknowledge that it may not be yours) leads to a breakdown in the discussion and prevents a consensus from being reached.
- Ok, then, conditions which you've agreed to in advance: continue to sit out your block(s) (this one expires at 12:25 AM on December 7, GMT), and in the meantime review the sourcing guidelines I mentioned as well as our policy on consensus. Also, and this is not a condition of unblocking, but merely a recommendation, you may wish to consider getting an account. This will remove the issue of multiple IP addresses entirely, and also make it easier for other editors to discuss issues with you. Hersfold (t/a/c) 04:38, 5 December 2011 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Also I have access to several talk numbers so I can access wiki regardless of this ban, but I don't!!! Also the reason for my multi talk numbers is I don't have a computer and use what is available. I'm poor and my talk pid numbers are just a reflection of this. Thank you for your consideration.--199.60.104.18 (talk) 21:30, 4 December 2011 (UTC)
Unsourced quotations
[edit]Please stop doing this sort of thing: [1], [2], [3].
Instead of starting a post off with "Quote:" and then including a string of text that you pulled off of some random web site, please do some research first. At a minimum, verify that the source you're quoting is reliable by Wikipedia's standards (please also check the guidelines for reliable sources for medical information) and include an accurate description of who or what it is that you're quoting. If you don't know or can't find out where a quote originated, that's a very good sign that it's not appropriate for inclusion or reference in an encyclopedia article.
Wikipedia talk pages, despite their name, are not intended to be general discussion or chat forums for conspiracy theories related to a particular topic. Don't post to a talk page unless you have specific proposals for improving an article. It's not appropriate to ask other members of the project to do all your work for you. TenOfAllTrades(talk) 05:04, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
TenofAlltrades you said the Toronto story is false, yet when asked for your source you have none. I source stuff, nevertheless you say it's not sourced. I suggest stuff to improve the article, nevertheless you say not. Your behavior is edit warring and is constant. You never talk about the specifics. MastCell does; he addresses the issues presented; maybe, you should learn from him.
You write to ban and place your rant about not sourcing to mislead other editors there is a problem. I provide specific proposals you ignore and retort that I have not provided specific proposals. Again you claim the Toronto story is false. Well why did you say that, if it is you would think YOUR SIDE would have said it was false long ago. It's a scoop if it is, so I look forward to you disproving this fact. You claim I did not source it, yet I provided over 2000 links of folks saying it's true, yet you provide ZERO links. Different search words can produce tens of thousands of google sites that repeat this, and you only have to come up with one fringe site that says it's false, yet you make an excuses why you won't show a third party reference, fringe or not, that it's false, yet you post it's false. --199.60.104.18 (talk) 17:41, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
Don't ever blank a section from another editor's talk page again. Falsely accusing me of edit warring is no way to apologise. Continuing to accuse me of things I haven't done isn't helpful, nor is your continued practice of posting unsourced quotations on the thiomersal controversy talk page: [4]. TenOfAllTrades(talk) 00:25, 10 December 2011 (UTC)
Your submission at Articles for creation
[edit]I noticed your submission in Articles for creation, Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/the ministry of casual living. Thanks! It will be reviewed by a volunteer soon.
Before it can be added to Wikipedia, your submission should have references. All articles on Wikipedia should have inline, numbered references after facts, showing the 'reliable source' (a newspaper, book, etc.) where the information can be checked, so that all information is verifiable.
Here's an example of how to add references:
He likes tea.<ref> Smith, John. "[http://foonews.com/Article42 Interview with Chzz]", Foo News, 1 April 2010. Retrieved 2011-05-22. </ref>
== References ==
{{reflist}}
That makes the references automatically display as small numbers[1] which will link to the details in the section titled == References == at the end. You can see that example in action here.
Please add references to your submission, which will be reviewed as soon as possible. See also, Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners. If you need any help, just put {{helpme}} at the end of this page, followed by a question or get into our live help chat chanel at #wikipedia-en-help connect.

[edit]Hello, I'm Walter Görlitz. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Artists and Models. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Walter Görlitz (talk) 01:53, 28 April 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in How to Kill 400 Duponts, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems.
