[edit]

Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made to Bunny hug: You may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit was inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. Thanks for your vigilance! jonny-mt 16:37, 12 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for reverting Vandalism

[edit]

Special thanks for reverting vandalism to sevearl tennis articles...greatly appreciate it. There are special tools like WP:TWINKLE and WP:HUGGLE that might help also. There is also a project around vandalism, which always needs company. -- Mjquin_id (talk) 05:20, 2 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please reinstate DQ Diet

[edit]

I respectfully request that you reconsider your decision to delete DQ Diet. I created a page that I believe in and it seems, as a first-time contributor, I unfortunately was not compliant with your policies and/or procedures. I'd like to learn from my mistakes and not be personally attacked for an honest error. Please help. TrevorFitzy Trevorfitzy (talk) 20:44, 5 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of FrostWire

[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is FrostWire. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/FrostWire. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:14, 18 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Saskatchewan Newsletter February 2010

[edit]

Hello and welcome back to the WikiProject Saskatchewan newsletter! I, User:Presidentman, am the new editor. You may see some changes due to the fact it's my first newsletter. I'm just going easy on myself, but it will get more complex as time goes on.

  • Newsletter archives
    • Newsletter archives are listed since the conception of the wikiproject and show the evolution of Saskatchewan WikiProject and Saskatchewan articles on Wikipedia. Please feel free to contribute to the Next Issue! Any and all contributions are welcome.

  • Welcome
  • We’re excited to announce that User:Presidentman has joined WikiProject Saskatchewan as our Editor in Chief. Presidentman will oversee editorial content and the Saskatchewan Wikiproject community contributions on the Wikiproject newsletter. Presidentman has also successfully developed the Picture of the Day project and has been active on wikipedia for close to three years in a plethora of projects enriching wikipedia with close to 3,000 contributions. The transition between our old editor and the new has been smoother than any of us could have hoped for — SriMesh wrote their last newsletter article for January, 2010, and Presidentman started up without missing a beat for February 2010. The previous years for SriMesh, the past editor, had been richly rewarding, seeing subscriptions grow, informing interested editors of developments and changes to the Saskatchewan wikipedia community and supporting activities on the Saskatchewan Wikiproject. It is now time for me to move to new writing projects to finish, and further responsibilities which are vying for my attention. Please join me in welcoming Presidentman to the their new position! Presidentman is working on a host of new features and an updated look, which will take things to a new level. It is wonderful to have a new editor to bring in the new year! Expect great things.
Welcome Presidentman, and best wishes!
Your wonderful act of kindness to take on editorial capacity of the Saskatchewan Wikiproject news letter is much appreciated! Thank you so much!!!

Kind Regards, SriMesh | talk 18:36, 24 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Irrelevant warning, harassment?

[edit]

Hi, Wolfrock: I received the following message:

One of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Colin Delaney, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Wolfrock (talk) 01:22, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make any unconstructive edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant warnings.

This is not a shared IP and I never made any edits whatsoever to "Colin Delany", "recent" or otherwise. Furthermore, there are no reverted edits on history page of that entry with this IP number or any other. So I would say this is indeed an "irrelevant warning" (or harassment).173.52.251.250 (talk)173.52.251.250 (talk) 15:49, 16 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for the delay in response, as you may be able to tell from my contributions I have not been on Wikipedia lately. You're message came long after I ceased to be active on Wikipedia. There was about a 21 month delay between my message and your response. There is, in fact, a reverted edit on the above mentioned page. See: [[1]]. Clearly vandalism and clearly from this numbered IP address. This is what I was referring to. Wolfrock (talk) 17:07, 1 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Notice

The article Planetlulu.com has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Arguably never a notable topic but since the notability tag was first issued, business seems to have folded. Fails notability test.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
