Please help me with... Thanks for the message! Regarding adding external links, I added 2 links to interviews of editors of the magazines the wikipedia pages were about, and a 'best of' list relating to the style of music another page was about. All the linked articles are primarily informative and open to all. Were both these types of links outside the guidelines for Wikipedia, or just some of them? Thanks for clarifying; I'd like to add more from time to time if this is allowed.

- Gyrofrog, you want to answer this? I dream of horses (talk) (contribs) Remember to {{ping}} me after replying off my talk page 16:20, 11 April 2020 (UTC)
- @I dream of horses: The user had added multiple external links to the same website (see contribs). It appeared to me to be promoting the website (as the user had not made any other kinds of edits). The user had emailed me off-wiki in the meantime and says he's the owner of the website in question. I would very strongly suggest that the user read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest before continuing to add links to his own website, and gain consensus (for example, on an article's talk page) before doing so. (Aside from that, please don't add a website to a "References" section if we're not actually using it as a reference. See this edit.) Thank you! -- Gyrofrog (talk) 16:54, 11 April 2020 (UTC)
