[edit]Please stop. If you continue to add promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at Content Disarm & Reconstruction, you may be blocked from editing. Come on. You're adding non-notable companies with their company links. Drmies (talk) 23:58, 11 July 2023 (UTC)
- Please have a look at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Do_not_disrupt_Wikipedia_to_illustrate_a_point
- This isn't a hill to die on, we are all trying to create something better here. If you want to flesh out the article more with additional sources, I might be open to removing the references to existing implementations. 173.46.67.114 (talk) 00:05, 12 July 2023 (UTC)
Your recent editing history at Content Disarm & Reconstruction shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. 74.73.224.126 (talk) 00:18, 12 July 2023 (UTC)
- What do you suggest as an alternative approach to prevent further vandalism? 173.46.67.114 (talk) 00:24, 12 July 2023 (UTC)
- The edits aren't WP:VANDALISM, which has a narrow definition here on Wikipedia. Would you please self-revert as you just violated WP:3RR after being warned, I would prefer not to file an WP:ANEW report, thanks. 74.73.224.126 (talk) 00:29, 12 July 2023 (UTC)
- Sorry I guess I used the wrong term. Attempting to start an edit war? I tried multiple times to point the user to the Talk page to discuss, but they continued to harass and revert. 173.46.67.114 (talk) 00:33, 12 July 2023 (UTC)
- No one has harassed you. I was probably a bit more aggressive than I should have been with the reverts. We have a number of dispute resolution procedures that can be used as needed. In the meantime, I again urge you to self-revert; even if I don't file an ANEW someone else might and you will be blocked unless you self-revert. 74.73.224.126 (talk) 00:40, 12 July 2023 (UTC)

. Ad Orientem (talk) 00:51, 12 July 2023 (UTC)- If this is a shared IP address and you are an uninvolved editor with a registered account, you may continue to edit by logging in.
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
