Hello, 130.167.171.156. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Adam Riess, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. ThadeusOfNazerethTalk to Me! 00:34, 7 May 2020 (UTC)

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Peter Grant (book series), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. WikiHannibal (talk) 08:50, 14 May 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Per Adam Riess, not sure how I can advise you, but I recommend asking on the WP:TEAHOUSE help forum and explaining the situation because edits like the one you just did will not work. Hillelfrei talk 00:39, 7 May 2020 (UTC)
- Greetings! I do think you raise some legitimate questions about the controversies section—questions that warrant review by additional editors who are familiar with Wikipedia's guidelines on sourcing, particularly with biographies. To that end, I have filed a request at Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons/Noticeboard#Adam Riess to have the article, and particularly the controversies section, reviewed. I have provided them the backlink to your IP address so they can see your edits and messages—and the concerns you raise in them. —C.Fred (talk) 02:30, 7 May 2020 (UTC)
- Also be advised that changing IP addresses and attempting to remove the material will only hurt your cause—as it may cause the article to be protected with the contested material in it! —C.Fred (talk) 02:35, 7 May 2020 (UTC)
- Also, please review WP:OUTING and make sure you do not link on-Wikipedia actions to persons off of Wikipedia, unless they have self-disclosed their identities. —C.Fred (talk) 02:51, 7 May 2020 (UTC)
