Constructive contributions are appreciated, but, in this edit to Tal slutzker, you removed Articles for deletion notices from articles or removed other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates. - Here is "Draft:Gilead Duvshani". What has been deleted? This is the draft for a different biographical article, in the state it was in immediately before I moved it from draft to article. This is the very first version of yet another biographical article, this one written by myself. Notice how the pair differ from the draft on Duvshani? In each of the former pair: assertion, reference(s); assertion, reference(s); assertion, reference(s).... You provide no references. You do have a list of external links, but (i) there's no indication of which part of the draft is backed up at which link; and (ii) a number of them wouldn't qualify as reliable sources. -- Hoary (talk) 22:06, 3 September 2020 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Ernesto Kahan
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Ernesto Kahan, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. CUPIDICAE💕 15:32, 7 March 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Hello מתיאל. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:מתיאל. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=מתיאל|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}

Rachal Gitai moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Rachal Gitai, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Deletion discussion about Mars Roberge
[edit]Hello מתיאל, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Mars Roberge, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mars Roberge.
Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Sadads}}

[edit]Hi מתיאל! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. Graywalls (talk) 07:56, 19 April 2024 (UTC)

In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Your edit suggests paid editing, and your disclosure on your user page says you're paid by "various". This is not adequate. The name of the person/entity paying you, and on whose behalf if applicable needs to be specifically disclosed. Graywalls (talk) 15:08, 19 April 2024 (UTC)

Hi מתיאל! You continue to make edits as "minor" when they're not. Misuse of minor edits
[edit]As you've been told at least twice, stop making contents change and marking them as "minor". Thanks Graywalls (talk) 08:09, 26 April 2024 (UTC)
Your behaviour here has swiftly become unhelpful. If you continue to copy/paste slabs of material into the AfD, rather than picking the sources you best believe show notability, they will be removed. Also, some of your comments about other contributors are not WP:CIVIL; please stop that or you may be blocked from the page. Black Kite (talk) 09:48, 29 April 2024 (UTC)

My experience on Wikipedia
[edit]In my opinion, Wikipedia strives, in addition to providing knowledge, to make the world a better place, and indeed, there are some educated and kind-heated people here there were times when I enriched myself with my knowledge, wrote many entries and even made thousands of edits, but some cyberbullies hurt me. This is about some who are doing great damage to Wikipedia and not only to someone like me, a struggling person who used to live on social security benefits and a humanities graduate who has no profession, but to others as well and they caused a severe worsening of my mental state. At times I felt like I was in a particularly bad episode of Black Mirror. While my motive in the past was clear, including a financial motive (In the Hebrew Wikipedia only), the motives of those people who harm the values and efforts of other Wikipedia people and do not serve the highest good intentions are not clear. My health has been compromised and again, I hope the lesson was learned and there will be no more cyber bullying on Wikipedia. I forgive everyone who hurt me on Wikipedia. מתיאל (talk) 20:17, 11 May 2024 (UTC)
Thank you for contacting me. As you know, AfD is not decided by majority vote. The closing admin weighs the views of participants based on policy and guidelines, WP:DISCARDing those who bring up irrelevant arguments, or whose edit history suggests they aren't here to build an encyclopedia. For example, user account Baculur was created yesterday specifically to "vote" in this AfD.
Counting the number of exhibitions in which an artist displayed their work is not, by itself, evidence of notability. There is still a requirement that the artist receive significant coverage from multiple, independent, reliable sources. Sources like Maariv are certainly reliable, but the consensus in the AfD was that coverage depth did not meet our WP:NBIO guidelines. Owen× ☎ 21:47, 11 May 2024 (UTC)
- But it was other sources like the Jerusalem Post, channel 10, Iltv, and more. please reconsider. In my opinion, Maariv alone is enough, and also, some experienced, neutral users vote for him.

- I'm a big fan of the רמב״ם - the greatest legislator since the original Moses (although רבי יהודה הנשיא comes in at a close third). But we are not sitting here in judgement of a person. We are trying to decide if an article is suitable or not for inclusion in an encyclopedia. This is an editorial decision, not דיני נפשות. Does Slutzker's future depend on him having a page on the English Wikipedia? If it does, we definitely don't want a page about him, since we only cover artists who have already established their notability without our help. Slutzker's case wasn't clear-cut, but I feel I applied my administrative discretion correctly in giving more weight to the views that were based on guidelines. My suggestion for you is to wait six months, and then present any new sources covering the artist at WP:REFUND. Consensus can change, and new evidence may tilt the balance the other way. Owen× ☎ 11:48, 12 May 2024 (UTC)
- I was very surprised to find צדיקים on Wikipedia, well done to you. Regarding דיני נפשות. It's right on the border, in this case as i know it. In any case, the sources that were cited after the beginning of the discussion, such as Jerusalem Post, Ma'ariv, Arutz 10, etc., and his books (which did not appear before) indicate in my opinion their notablity. As a fan of the רמב"ם, you know the impotence of doing injustice and avoiding a miss-dead. therefore, I ask not to wait six months, and not to wait until his next book in English will be publish and confirm the article. Another major argumentÖ whoever placed the template on the article and started the AFD did so as a personal revenge against me for another AFD that got out of control. Therefore, the whole discussion about Tal was "born in sin", and not from a proper procedure of Wikipedia or good will. Thanks for listening. מתיאל (talk) 14:47, 12 May 2024 (UTC)
- I'm not a fan of retributive AfD nominations any more than you are. But we do not, and must not, close an AfD differently based on the (assumed) motivation of the nominator. - As an admin, I have some discretion over how I close some AfDs. But even here, in this בית דין של מטה, I'd be shirking my duty if I changed results based on the request of the most persistent participant, against the legitimate views of other participants (and my own best judgement). I think Mr. Slutzker will do just fine for a few months without an article about him on the English Wikipedia. Owen× ☎ 17:11, 12 May 2024 (UTC)
- I understand, and i don't want to be a burden, just saying that a lot of participating people were in favor of the article, and they are the majority (Even if it doesn't count) and those participators have more sources, better arguments, and most of them bothered to read the article, with the new information, corrections and sources. I see it as a miss-dead against him and just asking for justice. And you know, even in a few months from now, the people who were against him, will continue to be like that, regardless of what the facts are. I have the same difficulties when discussing with antisemitic people (Not this AFD That was likely not because of antisemitism), It's like the world has lost his mind מתיאל (talk) 10:43, 13 May 2024 (UTC)מתיאל

- Warning to מתיאל: This is the umpteenth time you have engaged in a serious personall attack against me, an attack that now contains a smear ("this AFD was likely not because of antisemitism" - likely?!). You wrote "Another major argument [is that] whoever placed the template on the article and started the AFD [which is me, of course] did, so as a personal revenge against me for another AFD that got out of control." You are referring, of course, to this wretched AfD that you turned into a bludgeoning exhibition, as other editors pointed out to you - to no avail, naturally.
For the record, after the derailment of that AfD, I went to your Contributions page, in order to examine the nature of your contributions to Wikipedia. Your extreme actions ("I'm posting in a rage," you wrote) certainly warranted that. I also examined the articles to which you contributed or which you created. Out of all those, I came upon the bio on Tal Slutzker, which IMVHO deserved an AfD nomination. I did so in a fair manner. I even closed the AfD myself with a speedy keep decision in order to avoid more drama, but was warned that my closing was irregular and re-opened the AfD. And after more contributions, an uninvolved admin closed it down as a Delete. That was all.
I demand that you stop any and all references to my work or my person in any Wikipedia page, including talk pages. I do not want you to even respond to this message, not even to my explanation about the Tal Slutzker AfD. We two need to take a serious break from each other - and I hope you're capable of that.
If you have a complaint against me, please submit it to the appropriate forums, where, you can be sure, it will examined with diligence and objectivity. Next time I see anything like you just did, even as a response to this message, I'm sorry but I will have to report you. I value my time here too much to have it wasted in petty matters. Please reconsider. -The Gnome (talk) 14:03, 13 May 2024 (UTC)

Introduction to contentious topics
[edit]You have recently edited a page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Additionally, you must be logged-in, have 500 edits and an account age of 30 days, and are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on a page within this topic.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Paid editing
[edit]Your user page stated that you have been paid to edit. However, you have removed that disclosure (which would render that undisclosed paid editing), and the disclosure never met the requirement to start with, as it listed "various" rather than naming each employer.[5] Your next edit must disclose each and every employer for whom you have edited Wikipedia by name, as well as any client or affiliation, as required by the paid editing policy. If your next edit is anything other than making these disclosures or asking for assistance or clarification with doing so, you will be blocked from editing. If you remove them again, the same result will occur. Seraphimblade Talk to me 19:48, 5 July 2024 (UTC)

- if you are so sure that "Palestine, the state, has existed throughout most of recorded history", I expect you to be able to answer several basic questions about that state of Palestine: I loved 1. When was it founded and by whom? 2. What were its limits? 3. What was its capital city? 4. What were the main cities? 5. What did its basic economy consist of? 6. What form did its government take? 7. Can you name at least one Palestinian's president before Arafat? 8. Has Palestine ever been recognized by a country whose existence, at one time or another, leaves no room for interpretation? 9. What was the language of the state of Palestine? 10. What was the common religion in the state of Palestine? 11. What was the name of her coin? Select any date in history and tell what the approximate exchange rate of the Palestinian currency was against the US dollar, the German mark, the British pound, the Japanese yen or the Chinese yuan on that date. 12. And finally, since there is no such state today, what caused its destruction and when did it happen? people talk about the "slow decline" of a "formerly proud" country. Tell me, please, when exactly was this "state" proud and what was its pride? And another question: are the people you mistakenly call "Palestinians" anything but simply generic Arabs who have gathered from all over... or have been thrown out of... the Arab world, if they really have a true ethnic identity that gives them the right to self-determination, why did they never try to gain independence until the Arabs suffered a crushing defeat in the Six Day War? I hope you avoid the temptation to attribute today's Palestinians to the Philistines of the Bible; an alternative etymology for history is not valid here. מתיאל (talk) 09:54, 15 November 2024 (UTC)

Notice that you are now subject to an arbitration enforcement topic ban
[edit]The following topic ban now applies to you:
You are indefinitely topic banned from the Arab/Israel conflict, broadly construed.
You have been sanctioned for WP:NOTAFORUM/WP:SOAP, offensive language, and continuing to argue personal views rather than sourced material after being warned.
This topic ban is imposed in my capacity as an uninvolved administrator under the authority of the Arbitration Committee's decision at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Index/Palestine-Israel articles#Final decision and, if applicable, the contentious topics procedure. This sanction has been recorded in the log of sanctions. Please read WP:TBAN to understand what a topic ban is. If you do not comply with this topic ban, you may be blocked for an extended period, by way of enforcement of this sanction—and you may also be made subject to further sanctions.
You may appeal this sanction using the process described here. I recommend that you use the arbitration enforcement appeals template if you wish to submit an appeal to the arbitration enforcement noticeboard. You may also appeal directly to me (on my talk page), before or instead of appealing to the noticeboard. Even if you appeal this sanction, you remain bound by it until you are notified by an uninvolved administrator that the appeal has been successful. You are also free to contact me on my talk page if anything above is unclear to you. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 12:52, 17 November 2024 (UTC)
