Lowercase sigmabot III

The bot has no understanding of the abstract concepts of whether a discussion is open. Only whether a discussion is stale (i.e. hasn't had any activity for n days). Sigmabot for Simple English Wikipewdia?

Hello there,

YOu might have heard of Simple English Wikipedia(prefix: simple), a smallish Wiki that has existed for about 15 years, and that recently survived a closure attempt (at meta, some months back). It turns out that as a regular wiki, we have many pages that have been set up for automatric archival (using the Miszabot syntax), and that now do not get archived, since MiszaBot does not seem to be operational any more.

What would be the proper way to get SigmaBot running on Simple English Wikipedia?Eptalon (talk) 19:41, 12 January 2019 (UTC)

Source code is here. There are a few variables at the top that you'll have to change (e.g. API url, username and password, etc.). If you or anyone else is familiar with Python (programming language) then it's just a matter of setting that up and running the file every day. →Σσς. (Sigma) 22:09, 12 January 2019 (UTC)
