Your submission at Articles for creation: Lebanon Citizen Budget 2018 (October 17)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Worldbruce was:

This submission reads more like an essay than an encyclopedia article. Submissions should summarise information in secondary, reliable sources and not contain opinions or original research. Please write about the topic from a neutral point of view in an encyclopedic manner.

The comment the reviewer left was:

The topic has potential. 2012 United States federal budget is an example of a good encyclopedia article about a budget.

The bulk of any article should come from independent secondary sources. 75% of this draft, everything after the "Background and overview" section, is based on the Ministry of Finance's "Citizen Budget" document. An encyclopedia article should summarize analysis and discussion of the budget.

That analysis should not be your own, but should come from reliable published sources. Phrases in Wikipedia's voice like "It is important to note that", are inappropriate. Several sentences into the paragraph that starts "The 2018 Lebanese budget included many key features", you cite a source, but that source doesn't identify the listed features. It appears to be your own opinion that they are key.

The draft would be more readable if the very long paragraphs were broken up. Many universities offer advice on writing good paragraphs, such as [1], [2], and [3]. Some of the content might be clearer if presented in a table instead of in prose.

Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.
