Fafa is a Serbian music group from Kragujevac Serbia, formed in 1999. The current lineup consists of Mihael "Fafa" Stojanović (guitar), Aca Pejčić "Pile" (saxophone, Hammond), David Armuš (drums), and Dimitrije Filipović "Dika" (bass guitar). The group Fafa performs original compositions composed by Mihael "Fafa" Stojanović.[1] Their music primarily fits within a genre that defines the fusion of jazz, blues, rock, and ambient music.

History

At the end of 1999., Mihael "Fafa" Stojanović formed the group "Fafa" which focuses on original work based on the compositions of Mihael "Fafa" Stojanović. The band performs regionally and participates in all major jazz and blues festivals in the country of Serbia.[2] The group ceased operations in 2002 but occasionally reunited for performances in clubs throughout Serbia. In 2023, Fafa reformed with a new lineup and resumed active performances.[3] The band is currently preparing its first album, set to be released in the spring of 2025. In the meantime, they are recording live studio sessions at various intriguing locations and music studios across Serbia.
