COMMENT: Article slants towards the Islamic architectural influences, might be better if it was added as content to this page which is brief. VAwebteam 15:52, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

Yes, without exploring fully the museum website seems to cover the ground more fully, but the article itself is poor, so adding best. Johnbod 02:02, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

COMMENT: Good list of attributes with photographs of buddhas in the museum collection showing different gestures. VAwebteam 16:25, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

Better added to Iconography of the Buddha (Thailand and Laos) in say 2nd place, and why not Physical characteristics of the Buddha. Better yet, write a decent article on the overall Iconography, which we don't have. Johnbod 01:59, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

thanks to all those who have commented and/or added. VAwebteam 14:30, 22 July 2007 (UTC)

This looks really good, Grasshopper ... things are working out just as I hoped that they would when we started, i.e., you have sufficient technical expertise to create good links, and you don't require close supervision in your choices ... as long as you have proposed links posted for review/comment and keep track of which ones have been incorporated, then everything is kosher.
My advice at this juncture is that after a fortnight (two weeks), it's safe to add any that have not been commented upon (be sure to link to either this page or the To Do List page in the Edit summary), and they will either be allowed to remain, or else Some Other Editor will revert it, in which case you can argue on their talk page and the article's discussion page for including the link.
I'm sorry that I have not taken a more active role in this, but health issues have kept me away from the keyboard ... please note my new IP address. :-) —72.75.70.207 (talk · contribs) 14:04, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
Yes, I'd second that. But also check around - the categories at the bottom are useful for this - for the most suitable article in big-subject cases. I probably won't come looking round now, but contact me if you have a query on anything. Johnbod 14:27, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
