I'm a veteran New York City paramedic and a serious multi-discipline DIYer. I consider myself a progressive liberal, and I have great respect and admiration for the collective mission of Wikipedia. I have a longstanding interest in the martial arts and, in particular, the culture and history of the Japanese people. In addition to English, I speak Spanish and some Japanese. This motto reflects the inclusionist desire to change Wikipedia only when no knowledge would be lost as a result.
