Criteri più severi che da voi

[edit]

— Kasper2006 (talk), 05:57, 30 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Steve Hsu

[edit]

Perhaps use this "official" photo for Steve Hsu? http://vprgs.msu.edu/sites/default/files/HSU1%20(2).jpg (Sorry if this is the wrong place for this message.) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:405:4400:6411:89BB:8A7E:C411:A10C (talk), 20:57, 17 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Don't worry, it's the right place to discuss about it! :-)
That photograph would be great, but the matter is about the image copyright (under which license the picture was published?). Unless stated otherwise, we should treat it as All rights reserved, which means it can't be accepted by Wikipedia.
If you know it can be freely distributed, or you get a permission from the University (which I believe it's the owner of the photograph), you can upload it to Wikimedia Commons (the central media repository for all Wikimedia projects).
For further information, I suggest you to read Commons:Licensing. I know it's quite frustrating, but it's the American copyright law…
Don't hesitate to contact me in case of need! Cheers, — TintoMeches, 14:47, 18 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your reply! Now, let's wait for confirmation from the Wikipedia:Volunteer Response Team. It may take a long, long time (even a couple of months). Bye! — TintoMeches, 18:05, 28 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
