Opration Strikeback and Carrier Air Wing Six
[edit]Hello! Ive been house-sitting. I'm getting back into things now. Wh is the status of the GA re-assessment for Carrier Air Wing Six or the GA review of Operation Strikeback?Marcd30319 (talk) 22:55, 30 October 2008 (UTC)

- Good morning! I have revised the footnotes to Operation Strikeback. Please review to determine if I have captured all of the changes. Also, at your discretion, please feel free to nominate Operation Strikeback and Carrier Air Wing Six, either as a Good Article or a Featured Article. Thanks! - Hello again! I started to go the footnotes, one by one, but I only got to #23...will be back. :)
- What is up with reference #17 though? It has 2 titles, and the authors are...confusing. Help please! =) —Ed 17 for President Vote for Ed 16:47, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
- Done with the refs except for 17.
- However, you are probably going to have to expand the prose a bit in this one as well...it's mostly a list a this point... =/ —Ed 17 for President Vote for Ed 18:33, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
- Reference 17 is a ship's histry compiled by the publisher's staff and the ship's crew association, which I fixed. Marcd30319 (talk) 20:25, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
- Good! Another thing: which of the "external links" do you use as references? Those should be moved to the "sources" section or deleted altogether, as WP:LAYOUT#External_links says that "external links" sections should only contain "relevant websites that have not been used as sources." :) —Ed 17 for President Vote for Ed 20:30, 3 November 2008 (UTC)

Hi!
[edit]Hi Ed! I'm Zebec, and you've heard from me on La Pianista's talk page. You seem to have a great sense of humour, and the way you and Pianista jabber constantly makes great entertainment for all around! ;-) Keep up the good work!! Happy Halloween! Zebec 06:33, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
- My humor is only online humor, i.e. when I have 5 minutes to think up a reply...I really am not funny at all in RL. :) But yes, "jabber" is a very good word to use to describe out love/hate relationship.... :D :D :D :D Happy Halloween to you too! —Ed 17 for President Vote for Ed 19:13, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
- Love/hate? Where did the "love" come from? —La Pianista (T•C•S) 19:17, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
- Glad you liked the adjective I used :D And, there Pianista goes again! LOL Zebec 06:33, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
- Whoa, I actually missed her message...:O
- <creeper>I feel the love in every letter you type, every piano you threaten to drop, and every thanks you give me....don't worry, I felt all of the love. I didn't miss that super-secret message that you hid with every insult, every threat and every jest..... ;D ...besides, you KNOW that you love me and not biblio. :D :D :D :D </creeper>
- Now I'm left wondering what kind of piano-dropping scenario/insult/"Ed is retarded" joke/super-smackdown will be awaiting me here tomorrow... (Yes, WP:BEANS violation, who cares :D) —Ed 17 for President Vote for Ed 06:47, 1 November 2008 (UTC)

Joining
[edit]I have from time to time entertained the thought of registering an account, but I find that certain aspects of Wikipedia conflict with each other. I think therefore that an anon such as myself may in the end be more important to a project such as this than any registered user since I am merely the sum of the numbers of my ISP address. By not registering, and jumping from one address to another, I leave a kind of essence that lets users such as yourself know that what you say and do is appreciated by the masses. Registering an account would eliminate this essence, and at the moment I am unwilling to sacrifice something so important. I do appreciate your kind approach though, a little more than two years ago I received a similar one from Tom while using a different ISP address. And I will keep Tom in my prayers; I hope that helps. 68.72.221.24 (talk) 04:07, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you for your message, Ed. I left a note on TomStar81's talk page, although like the rest of you I am not sure if it will do any immediate good. When Tom returns though I am sure he will read my note and the notes and messages left by others who are concerned for him. Thank you for your assistance in this matter, Ed: most registered users would by now have issues one or two warnings to me for making unconstructive edits on Wikipedia. Until we meet again, take care Ed. 68.72.221.24 (talk) 04:36, 3 November 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Thanks for the Barnstar. Its appreciated. I always wondered if the work i was doing at the Novels Project was making much difference. I just wanted to try and make sure the newsletter was running again and get that portal up and going mainly to try and keep the project active as it looked like it was lacking participation. Bart Stupak is a great guy, but the site seems to highlight/not explain key things about him..."Oldenberg Corp." created a bunch of jobs here, Petkoskey Harbor needed the help, "B.J. Stupak Olympic Scholarship Program was a new scholarship in memory of his son, and he gave my high school money for a scholarship in his name for that—money that people there desperately need to go to college. —Ed 17 for President Vote for Ed 16:33, 3 November 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Windstorm
[edit]Hello, Ed. I noticed your question on the coordinator page while reviewing a project I will present in class momentarily (the focus was milhist on wikipedia). I thought I would clear up a point for you. When I accepted a UTEP scholarship and moved out here I discovered that the winds in the spring can cause long power outages, but not month long, usuall 6-36 hours long, depending on the windstorm and the ability of the electric company to deal with it. Thomas, the man you know by the screen name "TomStar81", was the one who first warned me about this a little over a year ago, explaining that becuase the power can unexpectedly go out it is best to create a generic notice for interent matters so those attempting to get a hold of you are made aware of the weather situtation. Also, I can say that Thomas is very good at hiding his emotions: he is always on wikipedia during class using the site to collect additional information for his notes (he uses a laptop), but this is the first time I have ever seen him not log in to the site. I had no idea he was under so much stress, but I am glad I decided to follow up on this. I will make sure that he stays safe while he is offline, and get him back to you guys recharged and revived as soon as is feasably possible. -- Guiterrez —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.108.225.32 (talk) 16:38, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
- Long story, but I wasn't asking about actual windstorms...just using it as an example for a possible month-long absence that I may have... :)
- Thank you VERY much! Remeber to not force him back here though—let him come back on his own when everything is worked out...but thanks again, friend. —Ed 17 for President Vote for Ed 16:51, 4 November 2008 (UTC)

A typo... what can I make of it... battle of the bands?

Renom Boston campaign
[edit]I've renominated Boston campaign. Thanks for your input! Magic♪piano 15:33, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
- No problem; that was a screwy GA review anyway. I mean, when you fail an article, shouldn't you at least give the author some advice to help for a future GAN? Argh...reviews like that make me mad... —Ed 17 (Talk / Contribs) 15:39, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
- Well, to give Redmark some credit, his comments actually roughly tracked yours, although specifics (like quoting problematic parts) are indeed quite useful. Where Redmark fell down is on scope and followthrough: he should have held the nom, he didn't place fact tags as promised, and he (more annoyingly) didn't leave any useful notification to me of what he'd done. (See his talk page for my comment on that...) Magic♪piano 16:23, 7 November 2008 (UTC)

Bloody Murder Inquiry
[edit]Have you and Pianista made any Bloody Murder episodes since the one where she was a headless damsel in distress and you were a knight on a white stallion? Reply FAST, I find them hilarious and want to read it if there's one I haven't noticed yet!! :) TopGearFreak Talk 19:26, 7 November 2008 (UTC)

Goodness gracious, my oh my.
[edit]So you did this for me once - I suppose I can muster what little sympathy that lies in my shriveled little soul to do the same. :D :D :D
- Sticking your tongue out at a Pianista while simultaneously correcting an error of hers is a big no-no. How can you even question the uniformity, the universality (<= real word), of her perfection?
- Ugly? How do you think the tocleft feels? How would you feel, for instance, if you were minding your own business, calmly holding your righteous place at the left side of an article, when a guy comes along and deletes you, insulting you to boot? Doesn't feel good, does it?
- What in the wonderful world is the purpose for this edit summary? ... Ohh...now I see. You're going for a perfect record, aren't you? No matter how useless the edit summary, and how annoying the little dash is, you will still type it there because, goodness forbid, you forget to leave an edit summary.
- For the record, it was a subtraction symbol (link included in case you don't know what that is... :D).

Hello
[edit]Hey The ed 17, sorry you didn't make president. You'll have plenty of chances to run again seeing that you are only just in college (we call it "uni" in OZ). Nonetheless, it was an interesting election for those of us watching from outside the US. Its great that Obama won, but I also feel sorry for McCain. My take on him is that he is pretty selfless and genuinely interested in the betterment of his country. I was "rooting" for him when he was running against Bush for the Republican nomination back in 1999/2000 and think he would have made a good president (just my opinion). By the way, I like the status icon! How is college going? Have you decided on your major? Romaioi (talk) 11:56, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
- =) Thanks for the sympathy! Yeah, back in 2000 my mom was rooting for him, so I rooted for him too...but this time, I liked both Biden and Obama (in that order)...so when Obama won and picked Biden for his VP slot...well, I was happy. :D
- I like the icon too - the problem is that I forget to change it when I get on! ;)
- College is great - but I've got class in 10 minutes. Will finish reply later. :O Cheers! —Ed 17 (Talk / Contribs) 14:50, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
- Almost forgot about this! =/ Anyway, college is fine. I'm probably going to major in Secondary Educction-Social Studies with a minor in History...basically, I'm going to teach high school kids. Woohoo! :) —Ed 17 (Talk / Contribs) 01:54, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
- Ah yes, a noble profession. I was an academic until 2 years ago, worked at one of the two big Michigan uni's between 2004 and 2006, before moving back to oz. I say this because I can relate to how under paid you will be compared to the value you contribute. But its rewarding to know when you have helped someone to learn something. Romaioi (talk) 13:12, 13 November 2008 (UTC)
- Really? That's awesome! I don't think that I would survive if I tried to get a PhD in Philosophy though...too much outside-the-box thinking. :)
- Yes, I know all about the pay issues...when I talked about the teaching profession to all of my high school teachers, they all said something about the low pay. =/ As long as it's enough, I'll be ok, I think (maybe Obama will up the pay, too!).....Plus, I really like helping others with history-related projects! Hopefully it'll all work out and I will get a good job somewhere around here...I am hoping for Appleton, Wisconsin because new teacher openings up here in the U.P. are practically never heard of! —Ed 17 (Talk / Contribs) 17:19, 13 November 2008 (UTC)
- If you certainly do not mind the pay then go for it. I don't think that teachers et al salaries will ever be where they should. The exceptions are those that are entrepreneurial or have some form of notariety (e.g. Einstein, Fermi) or made special achievements. (I am speaking from experience to some degree - it can make all the difference.) You also need to consider that advancement usually has nothing to do with merit and it tends to be far more political than the industrial world. If you can handle all of that then great. For me the main equation was this: how well will I be able to support my kids (and make sure there was something left for them when I depart the world - I have academic friends with kids who are getting older and can barely get by) and how much time will I be able to spend with them (because I used to dedicate a lot of productive hours and figure if I was doing that then I should be aptly compensated). I was considering these issues well before I started my PhD (or had kids for that matter) and the final quencher was my wife's desire to go back to Perth - she was willing to follow me to the other side of the planet so I figured I could change my career for her. Plus, the lifestyle here is very hard to beat, my "special" credentials have allowed me to pick and choose between careers ( I am one of the luckier ones), and you can play with stocks etc from anywhere. PS. if you can do well at stocks, then you won't have to worry about the teachers salary - it may be just the thing to help you start, say, and education center - I recommend you start reading up on that stuff sooner rather than later - its mechanistically simple, by psychologically tough. Romaioi (talk) 13:28, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
- Well it sure sounds like you are happy in the land down under. :) I hope that it continues to do that! Thanks for the advice too - I'll try to keep it in mind when I am selecting my classes. :) Cheers! —Ed 17 (Talk / Contribs) 19:23, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
- No worries. The best advice is the cliche(esque): do what you are happiest doing. So don't worry too much about the subjects you choose. The beauty of the USA is that, ok things will be tough for a while, but the size of the population and diversity of the economy means that there is a career to suit almost any education. And if it doesn't work out for you, it isn't that hard to change. I think I can tell that you already have the right attitude. Your demonstrated willingness to communicate constructively with others is the key. So I believe you will do well no matter what you chose. Good luck. Romaioi (talk) 03:30, 15 November 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Actually I think he had contributed a great amount of edits and as of the 26, was at lost as to status of the article regarding GA attempt and what more needed to be done. It has been placed on hold for several weeks regarding the GA status. He has shown incredible patience. No doubt; when someone opts to address the GA; he will re-engage in the article. The suggestion that he has lost interest after he has clearly done his part and beyond seems a bit dismissive of his enormous amount of work. --JimmyButler (talk) 00:54, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

(outsy) One question. I was going through a very interesting article a while ago (mwahahaha) and found this phrase:
The main armament was upped to 16"/50 caliber guns due to the plans for new British and Japanese battlecruisers with 15" and 15" inch guns (respectively) and the number of boilers was reduced to 20, allowing all of them to be moved below the armored deck; with the lower number of exhaust intakes, the number of funnels was allowed to go down from seven to five.
Firstly, what does "15" and 15" inch guns" mean? Is it a typo, or is this one of the extremely rare circumstances where I don't understand the subject fully enough? Secondly, there seems to be oodles more sentences like this - too long, really. :)
And...bother, I know this exposes my "contribs-stalking", but what can a gnome do, if she hardly does anything on-wiki except edit articles about piano, piano music, and pianists whilst flirting with/bludgeoning a fellow 'edian (you, dummy)? —La Pianista (T•C•S) 04:51, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
- Humph. I'm pretty sure that it is 14 and 15...let me check my ref. :) Thanks for the help!
- I know, I know...my thought was to get all the info in first, then c/e later.
- Feel free to go "contribs-stalking" more if you can turn up more of my stupid errors - Idc if I look dumb, so long as the article is improved. :) awww, that's just so sad...you POOR piano obsessed girl...
- Lastly, "firstly"? :P —Ed 17 (Talk / Contribs) 04:58, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
- No problemo, amigo. :)
- Good idea.
- You don't care? Well, that's pretty obvious, from your conduct with me... But, nonetheless, a true 'edian. <imagine another smiley here, can't overuse them> awww, that's just so sad...you POOR battleship obsessed baby...
- Hm? Whuzzat? —La Pianista (T•C•S) 05:02, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks again!
- I try...every once in awhile I have one.
- =) Exactly! TECHNICALITY ALERT: that article, I believe, is about a class of battlecruisers...correct me if I'm wrong... :P
- "Firstly, what does "15" and 15" inch guns" mean?" (italics added for emphasis) —Ed 17 (Talk / Contribs) 05:06, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
- You're welcome! (Okay, this part of the conversation is ending, since we'll just thank each other for the thanks over and over again.)
- You sweet poochy! C'mon now, puke.
- Oops, sorry. I know - I kinda get ticked when people refer to a sonata as a "song..." SONGS can be sung to, and PIECES are to be played; how many times to I have to tell my dad that? -_-
- "Firstly," since it is the "first" in my series of complaints. Naturally, being a girl, I will always have more than one complaint. :P —La Pianista (T•C•S) 05:11, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
- "Poochy"? Define poochy...
- =) I'm not ticked though...why don't you flick your fingers and become obsessed with them all like me? :D

- Hm. Well, the process of getting me hooked onto anything is a rather difficult process - but once I do (as I have demonstrated with my multiple beloveds in this world) it is hard to get me off of them.
- And yet guys always complain about their girls' complaints. —La Pianista (T•C•S) 05:21, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

All my classes were boring and I missed the first twenty minutes of my Western Civ since 1600 class, (so I missed my second quiz in a row...meaning that I have to make them up on freakin' Friday...for reduced credit. [edit]The year looks good to me; at least, it confirms Google Books, so that's got to be a good sign! What I suspect happened is that the person who created the article used an earlier reprint of the same edition and then linked to the nearest approximation he/she could find online. I've actually only been using that edition for the critical notes in the introduction, and using the Hesperus reprints for the texts themselves. I'll add those to the Bibliography when I get in from work this evening. El Staplador (talk) 10:14, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

- I know. Ah, the feeling of trapping you in a corner - nothing else like it. :P
- Okay, yah, that was mean.
- 1) Actually, many people composed the Missa Solemnis, Beethoven's being the most famous. :::2) Beethoven never finished it because he never wrote it. (It was written by Franz Schubert) :P
- 3) WUT? The piano is stringed, too? This is what it looks like - a very queer thing indeed. Look it up on YT, it's pretty cool.
- 4) The Austrian conductor is Herbert von Karajan - a great interpreter of Beethoven, albeit he was a bit into himself (like me, see?).

- 5) We all know Americans have a silly spelling system, but which of these differences between American and British English are real?
- the number of wives Henry VII had.
- the number of countries which make up the UK.
- the charge on an aluminium ion.
ANSWERS EVALUATION
- 6?
- 7,512,400 in 2006, says the wiki.
- Kilometers? (not using WP)
- Brighton and Hove, using wiki. 50%
- Oof...I'll go with sulfur/sulphur.
- Ummm...1 (using) + 4 (using) + 3 (not using), so 8?
- We use miles! Where did do you get the idea that we use kilometers from? I asked for a county for that city (East Sussex) so I'll give you half a point. Technically I asked for a town but I'll let you have that one. All those spelling differences are true except wierd/weird- we spell it weird like you. Well done for not falling for thinking 6 was the the number of wives Henry VII had. Do you study chemistry- you didn't need the wiki for the aluminium 3+ ion.
- THE ED17 scored a C.
- Very poor. I expect better next time! Ollie Fury Contribs 00:06, 23 November 2008 (UTC)

- No~ *innocent eyes*
- Like I said, I would never harm you. I would only treat you with utmost respect and fidelity as a close friend. After all, that's what best friends are for! Besides, haven't I confessed my love for you twice? —La Pianista (T•C•S) 04:46, 23 November 2008 (UTC)

- No, on second thought, I can't kill you. Just torture you and enslave you to my own ends...<evil laugh>...WORLD DOMINATION! Well, that's what I would have said...actually, I don't know why I would want to do that. Not evil enough, I suppose. And wayy too cliché.

(out) Huzzah! I have finally brought Ed out into the sunlight! By sheer denial of his seemingly "artful" attempts at winning me, I have obliterated all wandering, seductive thoughts from him! I have cleansed his spirit! Now - *slaps him* - off with you. —La Pianista (T•C•S) 05:30, 23 November 2008 (UTC)

- But - bedtime now. And please - I'm on the verge of puking now. The bitterness just piles up in the back of my throat, y'know? And the tongue gets all scratchy. And it tastes like all the stuff I had for dinner, all churned up. And there's the lump in my throat, which leaves me almost choking. And there's that weird smell coming from my cat on my desk...And etc., etc. Now, have you puked yet, punk? Yes? No? Well, suit yourself...dork. :P

Bazooka
[edit]Hey there. I noticed you looked at the Bazooka article a few days ago, and I was wondering if you might go back to it and look at the GA review that's currently in progress. I have a few problems with the state of the article as it is, primarily due to the references being used, and I wouldn't mind a fresh set of eyes to look at the article and the review. Cheers, Skinny87 (talk) 13:20, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
Haha!
[edit]Yea, I am quite bored... eh? With a lack of things to do I thought I might try to add on the wiki! Afterall, it won't make FA on its own... :-) FoodPuma 17:16, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

- Good question! —Ed 17 (Talk / Contribs) 05:23, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
- "Just another stupid college kid"?
- Dude, I'd smack you for that. How many college kids do you know who are simultaneously the head coordinator of MILHIST and one of the most respected editors on-wiki while juggling schoolwork and a gf to care for? Don't give me that "modest" bull. You're good, and you know it. ;) —La Pianista (T•C•S) 02:49, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
- TECHNICALITY: I'm not the head coordinator. :P
- None - but do I personally know anyone else on here? Actually, one: General Aurum, but he hasn't edited in a longggg time.
- "Most respected"??? I wish.

- Humph. Well, thanks. :) You "rox" too, pal. Ya, you rock my socks! :D

- ...boy, was my self-esteem given a boost tonight... ;)
- And don't worry, you are respected too. :D

Hi Pointblank... - Response
[edit]So I saw that you replaced "my" article, USS Nevada (BB-36), on the TFA Requests page... Would it be possible for you to wait for it to go through? It had 12 supports, so it shouldn't/wouldn't be long before it gets scheduled...but it was replaced once already, and I'm running out of time! I'm in college, so I'm going home for Thanksgiving, where I might not have internet access (it depends on my Mom's mood...). Without regular internet access, I may not be able to re-nom it - knowing my luck, Sandy will schedule at the time when I can't go on.... Anyway, I understand if you don't want change it back, as you do have a perfect rationale to replace it...but...
Cheers, —Ed 17 (Talk / Contribs) 05:34, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
- I have no problem, I will save a copy of my nomination in a sandbox so I can repost it at a future opportunity. ThePointblank (talk) 06:20, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

Coordinator discussions
[edit]It would be helpful to have some input on the following discussions, some of which you may have missed:
- WT:MHCOORD#Coordinating task forces - Job description re task forces. Some input already but much more welcomed so we can get a summary/checklist in place.
- WT:MHCOORD#C-Class: testing the water - Views welcomed on whether in principle Milhist should adopt C-Class.
- WT:MHCOORD#A-class article reassessment - Finishing touches on getting the reappraisal review in place.
Very many thanks :) --ROGER DAVIES talk 09:54, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
- I replied to all but the task force question - I'll wait to make sure that we didn't miss any ideas before putting a useless message of "I agree with this" like I did for the A-class tread. :) Cheers, —Ed 17 (Talk / Contribs) 14:20, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
Signature
[edit]Ed. I just made a new signature. Is it over the 255 limit? It's here!→ TopGearFreak 20:30, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

- Hi Ed, is there a way to code my sig using fewer bytes? Also can you suggest a way to make it slightly smaller? ϢereSpielChequers 11:08, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

There is something to be said for non-evanescent simplicity, by the way. I've had my current signature, which is small HTML-wise, in the same essentially unmodified form for several years now, and I prefer it over transient flashiness. --Cyde Weys 18:08, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
- (@ WSC) This works, but I don't know if it is that much shorter...for the one above to work, you have to create a page like mine and transclude it (no going over the 255-character limit though!) with in that box with "raw signature" checked. The one that works w/o transcluding is as follows:
<span style="color: #800080">Ϣere</span><span style="color: #FFA500">Spiel</span><span style="color: #FFC0CB">Chequers</span>
- (@ Cyde) Whoa. The dude who blocked me two years ago has...returned. How's it going? :D
- Well, flashiness is (somewhat) bad, but WSC's and mine aren't too terrible. The three "core" (? right word?) links with an extra link for me for newcomers. I think that I might take out the non-breaking spaces in mine though...extra unneeded messiness! —Ed 17 (Talk / Contribs) 18:26, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks Ed, that worked! ϢereSpielChequers 18:57, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
Hi, I just noticed your question on MilHist today. I have a (signed, no less) copy of Friedman, and John Moore's figures all work out. For Hood's data the page ref is pp. 168-169, which is from the Mayflower Books of New York edition, 1978. Cheers, --Harlsbottom (talk | library | book reviews) 17:05, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
- :O DUDE! Thanks a bunch! You just made my day! Just one last question becuase I was stupid enough to not put it in my original post (=/): are all of those numbers from that page range of 168-169? (I'm really looking for the 41.1% that was there for Nevada and the percentage for the New York class, if possible) Sorry for not making myself clear the first time... but thanks a ton, —Ed 17 (Talk / Contribs) 18:04, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry for the delay: RL as always intercedes. The percentages would have been made by John Moore from the data contained in the very long tables Friedman sets out in his book - there's a table for each country's capital ship construction. The U.S.N. one, which covers both the Nevadas and New Yorks, is on pp. 166-167. As far as I can see his sums add up on all counts. --Harlsbottom (talk | library | book reviews) 10:57, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

[edit]- Oh, I can speak for you.
- <creeper>I am your ears, mouth, and eyes. I hear what you hear, say what you say, and see what you see. My, my, someone needs a bar of soap in the mouth. Have ya ever heard of privacy? Geez. That's our private time. You promised, you'd never tell, remember, the morning after? No, I don't recall you ever doing that...
Agreed. Completely. :P I've finally almost-puked. —La Pianista (T•C•S) 03:02, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
- Oh fine, darn kids in their apartments. (Or small houses. W/e. :D)
- No, no, not soap. I've tasted that before (albeit a long time ago). It is sick! And I'm not telling anyone - my TPS'ers choose or don't choose to look! Maybe none of them will look? How do you know that they will?
- Agreed with the "too many times to think about"? My, my, we need to slow this "relationship" down a bit! ;) —Ed 17 (Talk / Contribs) 03:07, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
- *AHEM* Small house.
- Okayyyy...
- You need to learn to slow down. :P —La Pianista (T•C•S) 03:10, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
- Btw - I'm indescribably glad the quotes were there. :) —La Pianista (T•C•S) 03:13, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
- Maybe you should stop wanting me so much all of the time! Jeez, your whole life is about ME! :)
- Np - thought you might. However...have you ever heard of "friends with benefits"? :D —Ed 17 (Talk / Contribs) 03:18, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
- No, my whole life is about piano. Tsk-tsk, you should have known...
- Yes, I have. And no, I am not one - I would think I'm more of a burden than a benefit, no? —La Pianista (T•C•S) 03:22, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
- Well, I come in second then. :)
- If you are seriously talking about your comments here again as a "burden"...shut UP. Seriously, remember when I said "Wait - you're saying that this is a recent development? You being distracting is...new? Bull. Just shut up already. :)"? Same. You are definitely not a burden, my dear. No way. —Ed 17 (Talk / Contribs) 03:29, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
- (e/c)Agreed. You are my boy-toy.
- Well...thank you. Finally, a glimmer of civility...(j/k - you've
alwayswell, almost always been civil) :) —La Pianista (T•C•S) 03:33, 1 December 2008 (UTC)- I'm the only boy-toy you have, right?
- Np, it was easy. I like logging on to find messages from you! :) And almost? Only almost? —Ed 17 (Talk / Contribs) 03:41, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
- As of now, >.> yes.
- Yes, almost. Letting your hands run away with you, ripping off the clothes on my back, gnawing at my neck, and nearly biting my tongue off Frenching me isn't very civil. —La Pianista (T•C•S) 03:45, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
- Btw - I'm indescribably glad the quotes were there. :) —La Pianista (T•C•S) 03:13, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
(out, for thine sanity) Don't forget the other one I told you about. Who knows, I might let him. Actually, never in a million years, in pig's flare will I ever condescend to that bleepin' bleeper.
[citation needed] —La Pianista (T•C•S) 04:03, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
- In that case...I'll be sure to forget about him. :)
- Oh please, citations aren't needed - you know they are true. :P —Ed 17 (Talk / Contribs) 04:05, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
- Do.
- [when?] —La Pianista (T•C•S) 04:08, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
- When? Every night for the past month, love. :D Wow, are we active or what? —Ed 17 (Talk / Contribs) 04:11, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
- [who?]
- ...That's just sick...:D —La Pianista (T•C•S) 04:16, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
- Obvious. You and me?
- Yep. Your fault that I am in this mindset, methinks. —Ed 17 (Talk / Contribs) 04:24, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
- ARG!
- [what?][why?][how?][SOMETHING!?]
- Agreed. Hooking up daily does have its consequences... —La Pianista (T•C•S) 04:28, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
- sup>[nothing]
- Oh yeah it does...but it feels so...right! —Ed 17 (Talk / Contribs) 04:34, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
- db-nocontext
- All right - I've puked. The simplest of sentences has been my end. Who would have thought...
- Now then...what were we talking about? Oh yes, the innocent days of yore. Remember?
- Actually, now would be a good time to ask you a question. What made you contact me in the first place? I've entirely forgot. :) A great day for me, though. —La Pianista (T•C•S) 04:38, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
- When? Every night for the past month, love. :D Wow, are we active or what? —Ed 17 (Talk / Contribs) 04:11, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
(outie) You poor thing...but am I sorry? No. :)
Actually no. That was awhile ago...!

- <shocker>Neither am I.</shocker> *evil laugh*
- Agreed. Hm. Let's just be glad we have...ah...each other's company.
- No - as indicated by the redlink. :) —La Pianista (T•C•S) 04:49, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
- (e/c) No, apparently it is not.
- You signed my guestbook? Maybe? Hmmm.
- And, oh yeah was it a good day for you...you found your "supply of infinite orgasms" So if I hasn't crossed a line before, I'm pretty sure that I leaped past it now... —Ed 17 (Talk / Contribs) 04:50, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
- Censored. Spittle watches this page, dude. ;)
- You went leaps and bounds over it, imho. Last time we do this, okey? I think we've broken a few codes of conduct...heh!
- But still "luv" ya anyways. Ciao - and good night! :) —La Pianista (T•C•S) 04:53, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
- Good idea!
- Sounds good - I was going to say the same thing after thinking about it. How about we not' get blocked? :)
- Same. Hope that you have fun today! —Ed 17 (Talk / Contribs) 15:36, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
- Ouch. Didn't read the first one until Pianista said that she knew that I read it...which totally worked in reverse, Pianista :P And now I don't dare read anything else. You people scare the wits out of me. You don't want more vomit on your front yard, do you? And be glad there's no window in front of your kitchen counter... Gods, if there is, I am officially avoiding Pianista&your pages until my sanity comes up to half-adequate standards... Icy // ♫ 21:24, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
