User:The Anome/Airports missing coordinates

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is a partial listing of airport-related articles which probably do not have geographic coordinates. It is based on old data, and will thus be neither complete, or completely accurate, but it's something to be going on with for now.

Note: Updated 8 Februrary 2010 -- The Anome (talk) 23:56, 8 February 2010 (UTC)

Note Added ICAO and IATA codes parsed from articles, where present. -- The Anome (talk) 12:04, 26 March 2010 (UTC)

Note Replaced by new list generated using Wikipedia:CatScan -- The Anome (talk) 10:35, 22 September 2015 (UTC)

Many thanks to User:Dthomsen8 and User:Deor for their work on geocoding articles on this list! I have now removed those entries from the list. -- The Anome (talk) 13:12, 14 October 2015 (UTC)

Now working on categorizing articles by type. -- The Anome (talk) 18:36, 19 October 2015 (UTC)

List as of October 2015

[edit]

Current

[edit]

These are all eligible for geocoding.

Under construction

[edit]

Since these are under construction, they all have physical locations.

Defunct

[edit]

These should all, in priniciple, be geolocateable, but finding sources for coordinates for them may be difficult.

Scheduled for construction

[edit]

Since these don't exist yet, it makes little sense to give them coordinates at this time.

Planned

[edit]

Since these don't exist yet (and some don't even have finalized planned locations), it makes little sense to give them coordinates at this time

Proposed
