The Bahamas Department of Meteorology is the national meteorological organization of the Bahams, working under the Ministry of Transport and Aviation of the Government of the Bahamas.
History
[edit]In 1935, the Bahamas Telecommunications Department and United States Weather Bureau jointly established a network of weather observation stations to record and disseminate information.[1]
