Simple Desktop Display Manager (SDDM) is a display manager (a graphical login program) for the windowing systems X11 and Wayland. Simple Desktop Display Manager was written from scratch in C++11 and supports theming via QML. It can be seen as the successor of the KDE Display Manager. SDDM is free and open-source software subject to the requirements of the GNU General Public License version two or later.
Adoption
[edit]At the moment of writing Simple Desktop Display Manager was adopted as default graphical login program by Hawaii (desktop environment).[1] Fedora is going to adopt SDDM as default for KDM SC.[2]
