Vithal Pandya Welknown Gujarati Novelist who was born on 21st Jan 1923 at small village Kabodara of district Sabarkantha in the state of Gujarat , India . He has written 67 books in Gujarati , out of which 50 are novels . Other books include collection of short stories , his autobiography " Bhint Fadi ne Ugyo Piplo " and also filmi autobiography "asli nakli chehra ".

He was the most read novelist during 1970 and 1990 in Gujarat .

His entire collection is available with book publisher R.R. Sheth and Co , Mumbai and Ahmedabad .
