Well, I guess this is my page. I don't know much about what to do with it. If anyone else else is bored, go ahead and write something.
Does this count as an edit towards being Autoconfirmed?
Doesn't that seem like cheating?
I don't have much time to be a serious contributor, but I like to help with inconsistencies on articles that I use for school, and I would like to know more about WP policies, formatting and the like.
User:SaaHc2B/PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE FROM "OFFERED ADOPTION" PAGE. I am looking for more offers.
- I have been offered adoption by User:Ilyushka88 and User:Twilight_Helryx. I am looking for one from User:Dylan620.
- UPDATE: I have also been offered adoption by User:Calmer Waters, User:P Carn, User:Curtis23, and User:Benp123456789 -SaaHc2B (talk) 19:03, 3 January 2010 (UTC)
- UPDATE AGAIN: I have been offered adoption by User:Tim Tebow Rocks! and I have been adopted by User:Dylan620, although I think I might accept another offer if that is deemed acceptable. (see "Adoption Etiquette") SaaHc2B (talk) 01:58, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
More offers?
[edit]I'd like to have more offers from adopters before I pick one (or more, as discussed here [1]), but I don't want to chronically clog the "seeking" page. Suggestions? SaaHc2B (talk) 03:03, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
- You could just stick the "adoptme" template in and write in bold letters that you want to check out different adopters before settling and that you would like them to either put their offer on your talk page or put a separate "adoptoffer" template instead of replacing the "adoptme" template. As soon as you are satisfied with the number of offers, you can remove the template yourself. Hope this helps.--Twilight Helryx 16:10, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
Adoption etiquette (copied from my talk page)
[edit]I have removed your request for further adoption offers. Entertaining multiple offers is poor etiquette and a disruption to the community, which can be grounds for being blocked. Please choose from the offers you have already received or target specific adopters at Wikipedia:Adopt-a-User/Adoptee's Area/Adopters. —Eustress talk 14:06, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
