2024-11-04 10:44 Treaty of Andernach (1059) (1059 treaty between Flanders, Lorraine, and the Holy Roman Empire) The Treaty of Andernach ended a long war between Baldwin V, count of Flanders and Godfrey III, Duke of Upper and Lower Lorraine, on one side, and Henry III, Holy Roman Emperor, on the other. The article about Henry III, Holy Roman Emperor shows that he died 3 years before the supposed treaty. The article notes quite a few military actions by Henry, but nothing that appears connected with this. I could not find any references for the long (unnamed) war which was supposedly ended by this treaty. The article on Herman, Count of Hainaut shows that he died 10 years before the treaty date. The article about Herman states: "After the death of Herman, Richilde married the son of Baldwin V, who arranged for Herman's children to be disinherited. Richilde's new husband, Baldwin VI the Good, became Herman's successor and count of a unified Hainaut/Flanders." None of this adds up to support the facts in the article on the treaty, which does not cite any sources. Even if the artice is not an outright hoax, it is unsourced and well out of line on text in other articles. Unless and until someone can come up with a coherent narrative and a supporting source, this article should be and remain deleted. (Donner60)

2024-11-07 04:52 Nipple shield (jewelry) (Piece of body jewelry worn on the nipple) A nipple shield is a piece of body jewelry worn on the nipple, partially or fully covering the areola. The shield encircles the nipple, and can be attached by several means, including suction, friction and the action of glue, but is most[citation needed] often held in place by a nipple piercing. The term "nipple shield" is far more commonly used for breastfeeding, which already has its own article. This article also discusses pasties, something which already has its own, separate article. In terms of jewellery, there is already an article for nipple piercings, which has far higher pageviews. Nipple shields are almost always part of or used in conjunction with a piercing, if only because they're necessary to hold them in place- otherwise, they're clip ons, but no other piercing clip on is, thus far, notable enough to have its own Wikipedia article. Info here can be moved to other more relevant articles if required that directly address nipple jewellery or coverings, such as the nipple piercing article or more general articles like body piercing jewellery.
