The Book About My Idle Plot on a Vague Anxiety is the debut studio album by Japanese math rock band toe. It was released in Japan through CATUNE on August 31, 2005[1], with a re-release on Bandcamp on August 20, 2013.[2][3] The album has been regarded as one of the greatest math rock albums of all time,[4] having received generally positive critical acclaim and has since gone on to significantly influence the presence of math rock in Japan.[5]
Reception
[edit]According to Adam Greenberg of AllMusic, the album "showed the band moving toward a more pensive, introspective sound",[6] following the release of their initial EP and remix albums.
