Have you considered NOT blaming the victim?
That dude ATTACKED me out of nowhere. He may think he can WEASEL out of what he said by what he thinks is a clever framing device, but he in fact asserted that my edit was "nonsense that you fabricated out of thin air" no matter how you spin it.
Why are you piling on? I sense a political bias here. BTW, I've DOUBLE sourced this OBVIOUS claim. Both have been added to the article. Why not spend your valuable time protecting my legit edit from gang-reversion (as a way of gaming the 3r rule) instead of attacking an innocent editor? Thanks!
I also found it curious that you ATTACKED me for ascribing the following to this guy: "misguided political leanings" when it was HE who originally made that statement about me.
Wow! Can you say busted?
Please try to remember -ASSUME good faith. Even if the guy who attacked me (who you are DEFENDING) didn't!68.41.55.171 (talk) 02:08, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
This is hilarious. Some liberal wikipedia editor (sorry for the redundancy) viciously attacked me on my talk page. This guy Prodego writes SEVERAL paragraphs rebuking me and only says 'be cool :)" to the other guy.
Thanks for that, man. More documentation of how INCONTROVERTIBLY biased the liberal cabal that RUNS wikipedia truly is! 68.41.55.171 (talk) 14:59, 24 June 2010 (UTC)
Image deletion request
Hi Prodego. I came across this image which was inserted on the article Tarrare diff and I think it is vandalism, copyvio and a probable attack against a person. Given that my experience at Commons deletions is that sometimes they last for a long time could you possibly find an admin there to delete this asap? Thank you. Dr.K. λogosπraxis 02:09, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
I notice that you changed the protection level of the above, citing 'pending changes'. I was wondering if you have visited the article's talk page concerning the proposal posted by Rich Farmbrough? I feel that the change is neither necessary or desirable, as there is no history of IP or new user vandalism. Thanks for your attention. Ohconfucius ¡digame! 04:07, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
- I enabled PC because the page was listed in the queue of pages to have PC enabled, on day 4, in batch 4. The primary reason there is no vandalism to the page is that it has been semiprotected since May 2009. PC should help determine if semiprotection is needed, and is a step down in the level of protection on the page. Prodego talk 04:10, 20 June 2010 (UTC)

- There's a few I unprotected before the test
startedwas fully under way, no negative feedback on them yet. Would have been good if we could have unprotected a lot of the more obscure ones, possibly. Except that we are a little vague on the use of PC - if it is "Stable Versions" every article should have it, but it seems to have wandered from that to being a form of article specific protection. Rich Farmbrough, 08:46, 21 June 2010 (UTC).
- There's a few I unprotected before the test
- I agree with you - one of the main things I've noticed doing the PC queue is that semi protection seems to be systematically overused. What I hope can happen is that PC will demonstrate that these pages don't need to be protected at all by there being little or no 'bad' edits during the trial. Then once the trial is over those pages can be unprotected. PC is now article specific, you can read more about it at Wikipedia:Pending changes. Prodego talk 17:26, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
Black skin
"Use a black background with green text" - it's great except when editing protected pages when it seems to be white text on pale pink? Rich Farmbrough, 08:46, 21 June 2010 (UTC).
- I just enabled it on enwiki and (painfully) fixed a few bugs. Kormoran was the author, for any elaborate changes you'll have to talk to him or someone else more knowlagable about css. Prodego talk 17:28, 21 June 2010 (UTC)

Pending Changes List
Is it possible to get an article added to the Pending Changes List? I was hoping this article could be used in the test. It gets a fair amount of vandalism. [1] Thanks. Malke2010 14:56, 25 June 2010 (UTC)
- From the peanut gallery I took the liberty of adding this request to the queue here Off2riorob (talk) 15:12, 25 June 2010 (UTC)

You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.
You might want to watchlist it. - NeutralHomer • Talk • 02:41, 26 June 2010 (UTC)
- By the way, on this, I notified Mike Godwin of the thread, after taking a look-see at the thread after it showed up on my watchlist so many times. So WMF has been notified. - NeutralHomer • Talk • 02:44, 26 June 2010 (UTC)
- After several ECs, I posted this on JAL's talk page and have effectively taken myself out of the loop on his talk page. I may continue to post on the ANI thread, but I am not sure on that either. Obviously I am putting to much fuel on the fire (even though I am not intending to) and that is upsetting the user (which is also not my intention). I will leave things up to you and others on the talk page. Oddly, JAL and I share the same opinion, I would like to see them added too, but I have to go on the consensus established, which sucks sometimes. I would like to apologize if any of my edits seemed heated or offhand. - NeutralHomer • Talk • 05:03, 26 June 2010 (UTC)

Protection on Tupac Shakur
Just to let you know: I changed the protection level on the Tupac Shakur back to an indefinite semi-protection, per an RFPP request. It seemed (in my opinion) that the constant heavy vandalism and few edits for reviewers to approve made a case to change the protection back. If you disagree, feel free to restore it and/or drop me a note. -- Tom N (tcncv) talk/contrib 03:40, 29 June 2010 (UTC)

I notice you decided to lower the semi-protection of the Justin Bieber talk page. Please take a look at a sampling of the anonymous edits that occurred at the talk page subsequent to this:

Isn't there some way to direct the edit-protected requests to the nonautoconfirmedtalk subpage? –xenotalk 23:20, 29 June 2010 (UTC)
- Probably - but then that will just be vandalized so it's probably easier to just keep it one page. It is only a talk page, vandalism there isn't such a big deal. Prodego talk 01:01, 30 June 2010 (UTC)

I took a break from Wikipedia for a few months and while i was gone my account at ACC was suspended for being inactive. Since your an ACC admin i though i'd drop you a message to see if you could reactivate my ACC account. Thanks. Frehley 08:11, 6 July 2010 (UTC)

User talk:Zzuuzz
I noticed that you lifted the semi-protection and the vandalism started right up again. Is there a reason that I'm not aware of where Zzuuzz wants it left unprotected? -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 05:52, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
- I had thought that the vandalism was over (based on monitoring the source of it), and apparently I was wrong. The current incarnation will be caught by the abusefilter, but so long as it is going on, reprotection is fine. Prodego talk 05:53, 19 July 2010 (UTC)

A user is using people to attack your Wikipedia page.
