Thanks for uploading Image:Fight_Clow_Card_2.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me or ask for help at Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. Thank you. -- Carnildo 11:01, 6 February 2006 (UTC)

I've changed the templates, but am not sure if it is sufficient. --perfectblue 11:36, 6 February 2006 (UTC)perfectblue97

Thanks for uploading Image:Triffid_3.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

picture restoration

[edit]

Ni hao! It's restored. You should add a fair use rationale though, as described here. It can be deleted again if it doesn't get a rationale. Let me know if you need help. --Fang Aili talk 18:31, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

needs a serious tweeking

[edit]

I've been getting warnings from this bot for images that have been sources and tagged appropriately.

perfectblue 16:36, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

You're referring to Image:Young bonnie.png? This seems to have been a one-time problem, affecting the last 36 images of the 8:00 run of the bot. There's no evidence of what went wrong; my best guess is that Wikipedia malfunctioned and gave the bot a set of empty image description pages. If it happens again, tell me, so I can try to figure out what's going on. --Carnildo 05:41, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

The Tireless Contributor Barnstar
I hereby award Perfectblue97 the Tireless Contributor Barnstar for all the hard work in expanding the Kim Possible pages. Keep it up! Jumping cheese Cont@ct 06:41, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

Hey!

[edit]

Thanxs for uploading the Kim Possible pic! The page looks much better now. =) Jumping cheese Cont@ct 04:55, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

Thanxs for your extensive work in fixing up the Kim Possible pages. The refs to the episodes are great additions. Keep up the good work and have fun editing! =D Jumping cheese Cont@ct 01:18, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
I removed the pic sizes so that the pic size will depend on the set user preferences. Jumping cheese Cont@ct 09:44, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
Thanxs for the message. I agree that setting the pic size prevents warped rendering of the wiki codes. However, other factors such as screen size and browser type also define the rendering of the page. But, I have no problems with a preset pic size. The pics on the Shego page are a bit large, so I'm scaling them down a bit. =D Jumping cheese Cont@ct 04:49, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Shegoputdown.png)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Shegoputdown.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Re: Image

[edit]

Unfortunately, that is not how Wikipedia's fair use policy works. ALL fair use images but have a detailed fair use description (see WP:FUC #10). Also, i would be careful about using images in Episode lists as those are slowly being phased out, especially lists that contain images that do not have detailed fair use criteria (see Talk:List of Scrubs episodes#Episode screenshots). If you have any other questions, please let me know.↔NMajdantalkEditorReview 21:10, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

I apologize if my answer did not please you. It is not up to me the provide fair use rationale for an image you (or somebody else) uploaded, it is up to the uploader. You too have spent much more effort responding to me than it would have required if you had just replaced my warning with fair use rationale. Also, I do not believe there is a bot yet that checks fair use images for rationale. Also, may I ask what image this is in regards to? I do not see a warning message on your talk page.↔NMajdantalkEditorReview 15:24, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
If you look at WP:RBOT, you will see there are no bots that check for fair use rationale. Also, providing rationale is not entirely simple or easy as each image has different rationale and it would take me a considerable amount of time to provide this rationale for every FU image that is uploaded without it. Again, I believe it is up to the uploader of the image to provide it (or at least somebody with an interest in the inclusion of the image). I know people can get upset about having these tags on their pages, but that should not be a reason for me to stop informing them of Wikipedia policies. If they have issues, they can notify me and I'll point them in the right direction. People like ed g2s get grief on a daily basis for their work with fair use images, but they do not stop because it is essential to Wikipedia's goal of a free encyclopedia. On a related note about upsetting users, I will say that I feel the missing fair use template is a bit much and make try to change it.↔NMajdantalkEditorReview 20:51, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

List of Kim Possible episodes

[edit]

Think you have the wrong person; I wasn't the one who removed the thumbnails; I was the one who was reverting them back into place until I found out what the sitch was regarding the administrator decision on them. Rdfox 76 13:17, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

about the deletion of images, those images were unfree and per WP:NONFREE they cant be used on wikipedia, so I removed them, if that messes up the tables it is the problem of those users who added them, if they didnt want the tables to be messed up they shouldnt have added them in the first place. also don't accuse me of disruption as that could get you blocked per WP:NPA. In case you are unaware on our policy regarding fair use in userspace, I regret to inform you that it is not possible for any fair use images to be used in userspace. I've deleted the gallery you created twice already, please don't recreate please. -- Nick t 14:53, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
