Peter Mourfield (born January 14, 1971) is an American software developer who is best known for his work with the Microsoft .NET Framework. In particular for his evangelism of the ASP.NET web application framework.[1][2][3] Mourfield also founded the computer user group Augusta Developers Guild.[4]
Background
[edit]Mourfield attended Augusta State University in Augusta, Georgia where he majored in Computer Science. Following college, Mourfield had several jobs before landing at Ipswitch, Inc.. Mourfield left Ipswitch, Inc to start a software company, but left after a year. Currently, in addition to his work with the Microsoft .NET community, Mourfield is the Senior Software Developer for TaxSlayer.com.[5]
