- I think you can agree that by putting it at the top of the article, this does not adhere to neutrality. It should be moved to either under the description of the company or to a separate section, but it is fair to have it in the article as it is fact. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Karson972 (talk • contribs) 00:39, 20 August 2015 (UTC)

Sorry for not explaining why. I changed the content on Ed Gein's page because the information about how his brother Henry died is incorrect. I realize the information came from a book, wrote by a Judge, but the information is still incorrect.
My Great Uncle (who lived down the road from Geins) was part of the search party that was formed when Ed reported Henry missing. My Great Uncle, Clifford Banks, found Henry's body, laying by a brush pile 100 yards from the Gein house with hypodermic needle marks in his arms. No fire was involved in his death. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.89.26.8 (talk) 20:29, 2 August 2015 (UTC)

Last edit taken down for Gashmeeri Mahajan
Kudos. I was only trying to unveil his true character. The pompous and ego maniacal actor that he is, he had attempted to rape my friend and yet, these things go unnoticed because girls are too afraid to come out in the open. Luckily for her, he was so sloshed that he couldn't even walk properly later. Still, he had bitten her in the ear and slapped her several times.
I don't have any evidence and I doubt my friend would want to go through the horrid experience again. Wikipedia shouldn't put up articles pursuant to such despicable personalities. I'm sure my friend wasn't the only one. There would be many more. Ergo, I'm writing to you in hope of justice.

RAF Squadrons
Hey, I was doing a bit of work on the List of Royal Air Force aircraft squadrons and wrote a new section on Independent Flights. I copied the existing Air Experience Flights section into the independent flights section, but accidentally saved it without putting a reason why in the comments. If you'd prefer the Air Experience section stays in its original place, that's fine. I just thought that with the independent section and the AEFs being flights they might fit better together there. - Hi, 206.177.43.77. Please forgive my reversion. You are correct; the content you removed and changed definitely needed to be done, and your edit helped the article to be written more in a neutral point of view. Change I made to the US supercentenarian article
This change was no accident. The equivalent article for Japan was yesterday cut from over 230 entries to a top 100 list. So for the sake of uniformity I was making the US list also a top 100 list. If the US article can have over 200 names then please restore the Japanese list to the 230 full names it had.

Hey Oshwah, on History of computing hardware do you think that 27.59.244.208 and 171.76.137.232 are the same editor? They could have gone somewhere else to conduct the edits explaining the ip change. I think the behavior is a tell. Let me know. If you find it fishy too, ill open an spi. Thanks nice to meet you GlacialFrost (Talk) 07:14, 16 August 2015 (UTC)
- Hi, Glacialfrost. Likewise; it's a pleasure to meet you as well! Looking at the contributions for 27.59.244.208 and 171.76.137.232, their edits to the same article, and the fact that they removed the same content from it, makes me think that they are likely the same person. However, this is not sock puppetry. Sock puppetry is when a person illegitimately uses multiple Wikipedia accounts, not IP Addresses. The best way to handle this situation is to report both IP addresses at AIV and have them blocked. If the article starts becoming vandalized by multiple IP addresses, request page protection. I hope I answered your question and gave you some good insight. Please do not hesitate to leave me a message if you have any questions. Speedy deletion nomination of Mahesh Pandey
Hello Oshwah. Thanks for patrolling new pages – it's a very important task! I'm just letting you know, however, that you shouldn't tag pages as lacking context (CSD A1), content (CSD A3),or significance (CSD A7) moments after they are created, as you did at Mahesh Pandey. It's best to wait at least 10–15 minutes for more content to be added if the page is very short, and the articles should not be marked as patrolled. Tagging such pages in a very short space of time may drive away well-meaning contributors, which is not good for Wikipedia. Attack pages (G10), blatant nonsense (G1), copyright violations (G12) and pure vandalism/blatant hoaxes (G3) should of course be tagged and deleted immediately. Thanks.
- Hi, Hullaballoo Wolfowitz. Thanks for catching my mistake.
I'm not sure what happened; I think I accidentally tagged this article instead of another. Strange. Anyways, I appreciate the heads up. I'll pay better attention... I think it's just one of those days again. :-)~Oshwah~ (talk) (contribs) 22:41, 16 August 2015 (UTC)- I was able to sit down and look at my edit history from earlier today. I agree with your statement: I tagged the article much too soon; I got distracted and didn't keep in mind how little of time passed between the article's creation and my tagging it for CSD. I'll keep note and make sure to pay better attention next time. Again, I appreciate the notice and the feedback. Thank you :-) ~Oshwah~ (talk) (contribs) 01:00, 17 August 2015 (UTC)

Revert Changes to Royal Canadian Mint article
Hi Oshwah,
I had removed the "2009 Revenue" to update it to just read "Revenue" and add revenue breakdowns to include 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2014. All of the added information was cited and substantiated by the Mint's Annual Report with page number. Is there any way to revert the edits to reflect the new changes I made? Or, do I need to insert them again?
Thanks for any assistance. I'm new to Wikipedia — Preceding unsigned comment added by Coinygal (talk • contribs) 23:40, 20 August 2015 (UTC)
- Hi, Coinygal. I sincerely apologize; I accidentally skipped over your message without realizing it! All edits are saved to the Wikimedia Software and old versions of articles are available for viewing (unless they or the article is deleted by an administrator or other staff). There are many ways that you can view your edits and pull information from them. One way is to click on the 'Contributions' button located on the top-right corner while you are logged in. You can also click here to see them (I made a link for you). You can also locate previous revisions of an article by opening the article, and clicking 'View History'. This will show the article's history, where you can view old revisions.
- I look a look at the Royal Canadian Mint article that you mentioned. It looks like I made a mistake and removed content instead of restoring it. I went ahead and restored the version of the article that you had finished editing before-hand. It appears that I owe you two apologies, and not just one. Please let me know if you have any more questions, or if I can help you with anything else. - Hi, Ninetoyadome. I'm going to abstain and instead direct you to the article's talk page to discuss your concerns, as I don't know enough about the subject matter to make a determination. Also, remember that there are exceptions to the three-revert rule. If an edit is blatant vandalism, copyright violation, or extreme violations of biographies of living persons, reverting them does not count as a "revert" in the three-revert rule. Misinformation
Hello Oshwah.
You recently sent me this message:
"Hello, I'm Oshwah. I noticed that you made a comment on the page User talk:Jointedcook48 with this edit that didn't seem very civil, so I removed it. Wikipedia needs people like you and me to collaborate, so it’s one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~Oshwah~ (talk) (contribs) 23:56, 21 August 2015 (UTC)"
Thank you for the reply.
Correct me if I am wrong but... Wikipedia content needs to be verifiable does it not?
The poster you have blocked my message to insists on posting scare-tactic words and phrases which do not appear in the medical literature and militantly alters this page in order to misinform the public about this condition.
This user accuses me of deleting information when I have done nothing but replace incorrectly paraphrased terms with the actual terms copy/pasted directly from the research page itself, ... and now he's gone and dragged you into it.
Yes I may have been less than civil, I apologize for that, but I've been far more civil than this individual deserves. Telling con-men where to go and how to get there in no uncertain terms is a right I think I'll be keeping thank-you-very-much.
The Visual-Snow page as it stands, and is maintained by this multiple-account-troll who messaged me, is incorrect. Check out the recent 'view history' of the page and you'll see a small portion of what I am talking about.
If you would be so kind as to ask this gentleman to verify the phrase "confirmed brain dysfunction" he seems so bent on keeping I would be very grateful.
Thanks again.

- Hi, Psdesai777! Welcome to Wikipedia! I hope that you enjoy your stay, and that you become a long-term contributor to the project. Your article (namely His Holiness Pujya Goswami 108 Shri Vrajrajkumarji Mahodayshri) was deleted because it appears that you copied content straight out of another website outside Wikipedia. This action is an issue regarding copyrights and the treatment of copyrighted material. Violating Wikipedia's copyright policy is very serious, and will result in blocks. I highly recommend that you review this policy, as well as Wikipedia's Five Pillars - it's a great place to start reading and understanding Wikipedia's policies and how we operate. Again, I hope that you keep editing and that you become a long-term editor here. We've been losing a lot of them over the years, and we need new people to step in and make Wikipedia a great place to visit. Please let me know if you have any questions about our policies, and I'll be happy to explain them and assist you with anything that you need. ~Oshwah~ (talk) (contribs) 07:46, 22 August 2015 (UTC)

Deleting a page I contributed
Hi Oswah,
Citizens Archive of Pakistan had originally contributed this page. However, it doesn't fit with our communication strategy and we feel that our website better presents our work. - @Citizens Archive of Pakistan: Wikipedia strives to present all things in a neutral point of view. As such all viewpoints must be covered in the article, not just your communication strategy.--Eat me, I'm a red bean (discuss)(contribs) 07:57, 24 August 2015 (UTC)
- Hi, Citizens Archive of Pakistan. Adding to what Eat me, I'm a red bean said: Looking at the history of the page, it was actually created by another account. However, even if you did create the page, it may not be able to be deleted if it's been edited by other accounts, or doesn't meet the criterion for speedy deletion, proposed deletion, or articles for deletion. You can read these policies, and use them to decide if this article meets the criterion. I also notice that your username is the same as the article you're trying to delete. Please understand that creating user accounts with the name of an organization is not allowed per Wikipedia's username policy. You may be asked by an administrator to change your account name. Your edits to the article also constitute a conflict of interest with your account name, which is also highly discouraged on Wikipedia. I highly recommend that you review these policies and decide if you here to contribute to Wikipedia in the long-term as a neutral editor, or if you're only here to modify that article. Either way, these Wikipedia policies must be followed - both by me and by you, so I'm going to abstain and leave you to make the right choices. I wish you the best of luck. ~Oshwah~ (talk) (contribs) 08:12, 24 August 2015 (UTC)
Lauren Landa
Lauren Landa was recently announced as the new voice actress for Sailor Neptune in the English dub of Sailor Moon Crystal as well as the redub for the original series. I created a timeline for the character on her Wikipedia page just like all the other voice actors who had contributed to the English version of the anime. I did this on other voice actors pages except for those who had voiced Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask as they were already made. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 101.179.25.201 (talk) 09:10, 24 August 2015 (UTC)

Why
If my edits are vandalism why aren't you having me block after I undo your edits? It does seem that you are rather too quick in assuming that my edits are vandalism. 203.173.186.163 (talk) 09:40, 24 August 2015 (UTC)
- Hi, 203.173.186.163. I saw your revisions here and here. Thank you for letting me know. It would be better if you explained these removals in the edit summary when you do them, so that other editors will know this. That is the main concern, not necessarily the fact that you removed the content in the first place. I've gone ahead and removed the warnings from your talk page, as you've later explained your removals and left me a message here. If there is anything else I can do for you or if you have any questions, please let me know. I'll be happy to assist you. Re Plymouth Airport Wikipedia Page
Hello, I have tried to remove some content regarding the aircraft Jodel at the former Plymouth City Airport. The content forms part of an ongoing situation between the leaseholders of the airport and an aviation consortium - regarding the safety of an aircraft. The social media campaign that this has generated is now in the hands of the legal team - and this content (the content that I tried to delete) is incorrect and should be removed. Please provide me with this assurance or I will need to refer this to the legal teams also. Thanks.

Manika page
Hi,
I completed edited Manika page and removed all the "facts" from it. There are some trolls editing the page as well, but it's also Manika herself (I'm assuming) who keeps editing the page with false information to make her look better. I removed all the "facts" that link to her own website where's literally created her own charts and also corrected some white lies. What can I do make sure the article doesn't revert again? AyanP (talk) 15:56, 24 August 2015 (UTC)AyanP
- Hi, AyanP. I took a look at your edit to Manika (singer), and I feel that you may have removed content that was perfectly fine to be there. Most of the content you removed was supported by a source. Did you check these sources before you removed this content? If you didn't, I suggest that you undo your edit and remove only what content isn't supported by a reliable source. If you need help, or if you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to ask me. I'll be happy to help! Again, I appreciate you time, your edits appear to mean well, but I'm concerned that you removed content that was okay to be there. ~Oshwah~ (talk) (contribs) 16:14, 24 August 2015 (UTC)
- Hi, Oshwah! I really appreciate the quick response. I did check the sources! All of them are from Manika's own website and her own interviews. I removed all that information because it's NOT reliable. In fact, here is one of the "facts" written into the article and the source it's from:
- That's a chart created herself on Notepad. The chart she's referring to is for physical single sales so I went to Billboard's website to check previous back charts for the song and it never appeared. The same applies to all of her chart information. The reverted article claims that her singles have reached Top 40 airplay on Rhythmic radio, but I checked Kworb and AllAccess for radio airplay stats and her songs have never appeared. She's received airplay on SiriusXM stations, but those are private stations that don't get ranked on Billboard. Nothing on her own official website is reputable or accurate information. Then there's an issue of the information she gives in interviews. Here's the one that's included in the reverted article from Poll Star:
- "Pop singer/songwriter Manika talks with Pollstar about her new single, “Vegas Party,” and how just one of her concerts was seen by more than 100,000 fans nationwide." Source: http://www.pollstar.com/news_article.aspx?ID=814767
- I searched for this "concert" that supposedly aired in 650 theaters with 100K-200K people watching and it was actually an event called "Battle of the Strands" that was live streamed in 672 theaters, not her own concert: http://battleofthestrands.us/ ; she performed at the event, but she makes it seem as if it's her concert airing in theaters when it just features one her songs called "Vegas Party." Moreover, the claim that 100,000-200,000 people watched it is false. That fake audience number comes from the number of people attending those theaters and does not mean they actually watched the live stream. The current article also claims that this "concert" also aired worldwide on the Discover Channel, but I looked for info on that and it's also false. Battle of the Strands aired on Discovery Fit and Health. It's some tiny network not available worldwide. She also claims in the same interview (and it's referenced in the article) that "I had my first three singles released, up until now. They both got in the 30s on the Billboard chart. The peak one was 29." This, again, is false. You can Billboard chart history and she has not charted on Billboard... ever.
- Anyway, I could go on and on and on about this, but it'll go on for pages. I really hope you revert the article back to my edit and prevent Manika (or her manager father) from changing it. I don't care about this person, but I think it's terrible that all these lies are allowed on a Wikipedia page. AyanP (talk) 20:36, 24 August 2015 (UTC)AyanP
- Hi, AyanP. Sorry, I didn't realize that you responded. You're more than welcome to revert my change if you checked the sources. Brancaster local knowledge
Good morning, I am Barry Slemmings. I was a professional journalist for 30 years finishing as a sub-editor/proof reader before my retirement in 2003. I now work as an unpaid volunteer on Brancaster Beach. I live in Docking and near to Fakenham.
You have queried some changes that I have made on the Brancaster page. If you check the page history you will find that I am the original author of the whole section entitled 'National Trust and the beach'. There is no 'original research' anywhere on the entire Brancaster page as it is all written from the local knowledge of myself and others who came to it before me. That is the nature of town and village pages on Wiki. The changes I have made to the NT and the Beach section were due to recent changes 'on the ground' and were at the request of my boss to keep it inline with the National Trust's own information policy. My boss knows that I edit the Wiki page and it is highly regarded locally. I would ask you to revert my changes.
On the rest of the Brancaster page I also wrote Geography and Geology and substantially re-wrote Shipwreck on the Beach a couple of years ago. Again most of this is local knowledge and very hard (almost impossible) to 'prove' as original research. As local knowledge I assure you that it is accurate as otherwise you would have received complaints or someone else would have re-edited my errors. In the UK Wiki is highly regarded for such local knowledge.
The other changes regarding Fakenham and Docking were minor edits and are due to changing information. Towns and villages are not sterile, they change and evolved. I was merely up-dating, as a good sub-editor would. I would again ask you to reconsider reverting to my changes.
Elsewhere - in other subjects - I often make minor edits to correct spelling, punctuation or minor errors. That's that old sub-editor and proof-reader coming out in me. Once a wordsmith, always a wordsmith and I hope that Wiki benefits from your efforts and mine.
Please let me know your thoughts.

- I reverted much of the information added by Mr. Slemmings, and issued him a level three warning, for persistent addition of unsourced content to Wikipedia articles,
monthsyears after being informed by other users that this contravenes encyclopedic policy. 'Local knowledge', unless supported by WP:RELIABLE sources, is original research. Editing to update information at 'the request of my boss' also doesn't usually work well here, and runs up against WP:COI. Edits to correct grammar and punctuation are always welcome, as are edits that update and correct content, so long as they are adequately sourced. Edits like [1], [2] and [3] are unsourced and appropriate for a local directory, not an encyclopedia article. Please feel free to add to or contradict anything I've written here, Oshwah. Thanks, 2601:188:0:ABE6:E912:650D:B93C:F627 (talk) 12:26, 25 August 2015 (UTC)
- I must admit, it was with some regret that I deleted the following [4], what with its mention of 'bisexuals or practising Jews' being welcome in UK munches. Well, that's a relief. There's a history of such edits, intended to be helpful, that need to be reviewed. 2601:188:0:ABE6:E912:650D:B93C:F627 (talk) 13:02, 25 August 2015 (UTC)
- Hi, Barry Slemmings. Welcome to Wikipedia! I'm glad that you're here to contribute to the project and make Wikipedia a better place for others. Some of the content that you added to Brancaster here, here, and here - have concerns. I'll be happy to assist you and explain. 2601:188:0:ABE6:E912:650D:B93C:F627 is correct when citing Wikipedia's No original research policy. In a nutshell, anything added to Wikipedia must be attributable to a reliable source (meaning, a source must exist somewhere where it can be obtained and verified). If no sources can be found, the content can be removed. If you add quotes, or content that's likely to be challenged, you must cite a reliable source in-line with the article. Otherwise, it can be challenged and removed. Instead of adding the content back to the article repeatedly, I highly recommend that you discuss your concerns on the articles talk page - click here to go there. Please let me know if you have any questions. I'll be happy to answer them. Thanks again for leaving me a message. I hope that your time with Wikipedia is a pleasant one. ~Oshwah~ (talk) (contribs) 19:46, 25 August 2015 (UTC)

Regarding the deletion of dravidian template from tamil page.
I have no problem with the dravidian template..but i have a problem because its in a tamil page. And recently due to many research of Tamil scholars dravidian concept is a secondary reference and not the fact that its a dravidian language. Tamil is the oldest language on earth and tamil race is the oldest race on earth with a history of 50000 years. So we do not need a dravidian identity. Its a matter of races and sub races. Tamil race is the universal set of all these languages. Hope you understand. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vineeth02 (talk • contribs) 22:34, 25 August 2015 (UTC)
- Hi, Vineeth02. It's a pleasure to meet you, and welcome to Wikipedia! I understand that you have strong feelings regarding this subject area, but blanking templates (such as what you did here to Template:Dravidian) is not allowed; it is disruptive and can be considered as vandalism, which can result in your account being blocked from editing Wikipedia. Instead, you can remove the template from the article itself (provide an explanation in the edit summary) and then discuss the removal on the article's talk page. This is the acceptable way to address your concerns, and will be seen as a positive contribution rather than disruptive editing. Please do not hesitate to message me (as you did here) if you have any questions. I'll be happy to answer them and assist you. Again, welcome to Wikipedia! I hope that you enjoy your say, learn about how things work around here, and become a long-time contributor to the project. It seemed strange to me that Imperator Furiosa, from recent film Mad Max: Fury Road had a wikipedia article dedicated solely to her, in spite of being a main character in only one movie, with no greater pop culture build around her, other than news articles, which could be covered under the main film page. Blue Coat
Hi Oshwah,
I've worked at Blue Coat for 6 years & I was making some constructive edits/corrections to the wikicontent that were inaccurate/outdated.
First of all thank you very much for your message. The problem with this article is that the SAITM institute is not accepted by the Sri Lankan medical council but it still run as a medical college in Sri Lanka. So there is a huge issue on this institute on contraversy as well as how ethically acceptable to run this institute in Sri Lanka. So there were information on that in this article but those are been continously deleted and removed by some one. So any one read this article do not recieve the correct information. As that informations are continously been deleted by unknown I had to give a hint on this that the information given here are not reliable... If you just refer to edit history of this article you may see how many times those information are been deleted and how much biased information are given by this article after removing those information.I will present you those information which were been continously been deleted..

Not vandalism: see User_talk:Drmies#Keeping_in_touch_and_aspie_experimental_edit. Please have a sip of the milk of human kindness, and pour a cup for Soap as well. Seriously, folks, I understand what you were thinking, but the editor is trying. Thanks, Drmies (talk) 14:15, 27 August 2015 (UTC)
- Hi, Drmies. I appreciate the URL to this discussion. Yeah, I didn't know what those edits were. So I just said "_rv rossible editing test. WP:VAND?_" in the edit summary and gave it my best judgment. It looks like he's getting his questions answered and that he's learning a lot, which is awesome. Again, thanks for the message. Keep fighting the good fight ;-) ~Oshwah~ (talk) (contribs) 21:28, 27 August 2015 (UTC)

I appreciate you for taking the time to message me and leave me the wikilove. It's a pleasure to edit alongside you. Until our paths cross again... happy editing :-) ~Oshwah~ (talk) (contribs) 04:29, 4 September 2015 (UTC)
