This page contains the entirety of the Pulchraist Manifesto, free to read.
At this moment, the manifesto is INCOMPLETE. If you wish to help build onto this manifesto and add beliefs, you may; it is preferred that, if you are to edit and build onto it, that you agree with the core ideas of the Pulchraist Manifesto and the Pulchraist Party; please, do not add to this manifesto if you disagree with its statements.
Introduction
[edit]In the nation of the United States of America, there is an inherent flaw in its system and format; the country and its two-party system has resulted in divide and national argument. In response to this, we, the authors of this manifesto, formally establish the Pulchraist Party and hereby establish its beliefs and goals if put into power by the citizens of the United States of America. For the remainder of this manifesto, the word “we” refers to the authors, members, and believers of the Pulchraist Party.
To preface, although our views may seem to be and may be viewed as radical, we firmly believe in the following: the abolition of the Electoral College, the right to an abortion to be amended to the United States Constitution, and, as Thomas Jefferson believed, the rewriting of the United States Constitution every 10 years. In addition to these, we hold many other beliefs pertaining to the United States and its issues.
Economy
[edit]Foundation of our economic plan
[edit]The foundation of the United States’ economy, if under a Pulchraist government, will focus on equality for all first and foremost. This includes closing the wage gap, the support of small businesses, job creation, and much more.
Taxes and the wage gap
[edit]If put into power, our key focus of economics will be taxation. Taxes will serve as a tool to dismantle the wage gap that plagues the current United States. We, most importantly, advocate for the taxation of people in higher tax brackets, that being people with a taxable income equal to or greater than $578,126. The overall taxation of the citizens of the nation will be for the greater good and be used in great ways (see Investments of taxes). In addition to this, we strongly support the removal of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and replacing it with a new service; this new service will tell citizens exactly how much they owe to the government without citizens having to calculate it themselves.
Investments of taxes
[edit]With the taxes received from the people, we will prioritize strengthening the branches of our government, such as our education system and public transportation (see Infrastructure, Education, Healthcare, Environment, and Transportation.
Minimum wage
[edit]We, if put into power, intend on raising the minimum wage to above $10 per hour. We believe this number guarantees workers the basic necessities of life, that being food, water, shelter, and overall health.
Sustainability and green growth
[edit]In order to strengthen our economy in the long term, we will prioritize investments in clean, green, and renewable energy and infrastructure (see more under Infrastructure). We believe that the growth of our economy should not imply the harm to our planet. We hope to reduce and eventually eliminate the use of fossil fuels.
Education
[edit]Foundation of our educational plan
[edit]Education, we believe, is vital for the future of our nation. We will keep the Department of Education, eliminate student loan debt, and improve the safety of schools.
Department of Education
[edit]We firmly believe that the abolition of the Department of Education, which has been proposed by other parties, would be a mistake. We are in total favor of keeping it.
Student loan debt
[edit]If put into power, we will eliminate all student loan debt and initiate total student loan forgiveness.
Safety and health of schools
[edit]To improve the safety of schools, we will create laws pertaining to firearms (see Gun control) and allocate educational funding to security in schools. In addition to this, we will promote general health to students, such as eating well and saying "no" to drugs.

Equality
[edit]Equality for all
[edit]We believe in a mentality named "Equality for all," or EFA. This mentality is the belief in feminism, gender equality, LGBTQ+ rights, and the counteraction of all prejudice.
Infrastructure
[edit]Green infrastructure
[edit]At the heart of our infrastructure plan is green infrastructure. In order to help and slow down the damage that climate change is doing to our planet, we will focus on green and eco-friendly buildings
Affordable housing
[edit]Over 600,000 Americans are homeless. Under our government, the homeless will be given free housing for four months; if the person living in the house, since the beginning of the four months, now has a monthly income and/or a job, that person may keep the house as long as they pay for it via a mortgage or other way. Under our plan, homelessness will be a thing of the past.
Transportation
[edit]Public transportation
[edit]We will, with the money subtracted from the budget of the U.S. Armed Forces, create better public transportation. We will establish the System of United States' High-Velocity Intercontinental Railways, or SUSHVIR /səʃ.vɜːr/, a system of high-speed rails that will, by the end of its construction, be able to transport people from Los Angeles to New York City in around 13 hours, almost one-third of the current time on land.
Government
[edit]Foundation of our governmental plan
[edit]We believe in arguably the most radical change to our government. This change that we would bring if elected would improve our government and nation as a whole. We believe in a reform in our Constitution, as well as additional amendments and believe in the Washington mentality of being anti-political party.
Constitution
[edit]If elected, we will bring about great change to the Constitution. We will propose and hopefully add the following amendments and changes:
Amendment XXVIII (Jeffersonian Amendment)
[edit]"The Constitution of the United States is to be rewritten and revised by the Congress of the United States and made up-to-date on the thirteenth of April every 20 years on years whose final digits are divisible by 20 (00, 20, 40, 60, 80); previous amendments, in order to be removed in the revisions, must hold a three-fifths majority; likewise for an addition to the Constitution."
Amendment XXIX (Constitutional Majority Amendment)
[edit]"The majority required to add a new amendment to the Constitution will be changed from two-thirds of Congress and three-quarters of states to three-fifths of Congress and two-thirds of states."
Amendment XXX (Support of Choice Amendment)
[edit]"The abortion of a fetus is to granted to all citizens of the United States; the maximum age of the fetus is to be 24-weeks, with exceptions if the mother is to die or be seriously injured during childbirth."
Amendment XXXI (Presidential Crimes Amendment)
[edit]"The President of the United States may not issue a pardon for themself. In addition, immunity for crimes a president or former president has committed while in office will be removed."
Modification of Amendment XIII
[edit]We will remove the section of the Thirteenth Amendment allowing for slavery to be used as a punishment in prison.
Amendment XXXII (Ranked Voting Amendment)
[edit]"The Electoral College is to be abolished; in its place will be a vote where a candidate must receive 50% of the vote. To ensure a majority occurs, presidential elections will, instead of only allowing one candidate chosen, allow for a ranking voting system. If no candidate receives a majority, all votes for candidates who received less than 5% of the vote will be changed to the candidate marked second on the ballot unless said candidate has also been eliminated, in which case would change it to the candidate marked third."
Amendment XXXIII (Debt Ceiling Majority Amendment)
[edit]"In order to raise the debt ceiling of the United States, Congress must achieve a two-thirds majority."
Amendment XXXIV (Marriage for All Amendment)
[edit]"Marriage in the United States shall consist not only of the union of a man and a woman but of any two human beings."
Amendment XXXV (Legislative Term Limits Amendment)
[edit]"Members of the legislative branch, otherwise known as Congress, containing the Senate and the House of Representatives, are to have a term limit of four terms."
Amendment XXXVI (Columbia and Puerto Rico Amendment)
[edit]"The District of Columbia and the territory of Puerto Rico are to join the United States as the 51st and 52nd states respectively. The new states shall be named "Columbia" and "Puerto Rico" respectively"
Amendment XXXVII (House Seats Amendment)
[edit]"The House of Representatives is to, at all times, contain a total of 445 seats and members."
Amendment XXXVIII (Supreme Court Terms Amendment)
[edit]"Members of the Supreme Court are to have ten-year terms and a maximum of three terms."
Amendment XXXIX (Legislative Veto Amendment)
[edit]"If three-fourths of Congress agree to it, the legislative branch may veto a bill."
Amendment XL (Presidents' Birth Amendment)
[edit]"To run for President of the United States, a candidate no longer has to be a natural-born citizen; they only must be a current citizen and have been so for at least fourteen years."
Amendment XLI (Death Penalty Amendment)
[edit]"The death penalty is to be outlawed nationally."
Gun control
[edit]We support the Second Amendment but firmly believe that the ability to own a gun or firearm should be more difficult than it currently is. If put into power, we will require background checks on people purchasing a firearm, as well as a 10-day waiting period.
Abortion
[edit]As mentioned above (see Amendment XXX), we believe abortion should be a constitutional right guaranteed for all women up to the 24th week with exceptions in life-threatening situations.
Inflation
