Proposed deletion of A Bad Goodbye
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article A Bad Goodbye, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. -- Jeandré, 2008-09-05t20:23z 20:23, 5 September 2008 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:HauntedHeart.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:HauntedHeart.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
- That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Hi Martin
I moved the article One Step at a Time (Jordin Sparks song) back to One Step at a Time (song), per the naming guideline – unless you wanted to start an article about a more notable song than the one by Sparks, but I know of none. In particular, the Hüsker Dü song doesn't warrant a standalone article, as far as I can tell. I hope that's OK.
Thanks & Cheers, AmaltheaTalk 18:02, 5 October 2008 (UTC)

Disputed non-free use rationale for Image:Chad Brock Yes.jpg
Thank you for uploading Image:Chad Brock Yes.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stifle (talk) 10:14, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
Don't You Know You're Beautiful
Please don't redirect non-stubs on songs. If it's just one or two sentences, you could probably get away with a redirect. Don't You Know You're Beautiful is hardly a stub, and despite falling one short of our usual Top 20 threshold, it's established enough notability regardless. Hello, this is just to let you know that I have granted you the "autopatrolled" permission. This won't affect your editing, it just automatically marks any page you create as patrolled, benefiting new page patrollers. Please remember:
- This permission does not give you any special status or authority
- Submission of inappropriate material may lead to its removal
- You may wish to display the {{Autopatrolled}} top icon and/or the {{User wikipedia/autopatrolled}} userbox on your user page
- If, for any reason, you decide you do not want the permission, let me know and I can remove it
- If you have any questions about the permission, don't hesitate to ask. Otherwise, happy editing! HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 05:25, 18 January 2011 (UTC)
The article Covington Highway has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Non-notable street. Google search shows there are lots of businesses on the road, but that doesn't make it notable.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. –Fredddie™ 23:24, 26 February 2011 (UTC)

Non-free rationale for File:RollinWithTheFlow.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:RollinWithTheFlow.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Kelly hi! 23:38, 26 March 2013 (UTC)

Country number-one updates
When you update the article of whichever song is number one on the Billboard charts of a week, please make sure you update the accessdate to the current date in the relevant singlechart template, as it is helpful to other editors. Otherwise it is misleading, as "Setting the World on Fire" did not achieve number one on the Country Airplay chart on October 4. Thank you. Ss112 01:56, 25 October 2016 (UTC)

Country articles
Hi, just letting you know that when you update the country number-ones of a week, for example, for "Body Like a Back Road", you don't need to re-add a reference (or ref name) at the end of a template if the song has already been at number one. As the song has already topped the main country chart for 26 weeks now, there's no need to add a note to the country update ref at the end of the Country Songs single chart. It can't go higher than number one, and chart tables don't tell us how long a song has been at number one. The only place a reference would be needed would be if the article uses a succession box, to place next to the date in that. Ss112 23:22, 8 August 2017 (UTC)

It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. Year-end country charts
Hi. When adding year-end charts sections to pages, make sure you add a weekly charts heading for the table already there to distinguish the types. Also, please match what the singles charts display. These say "US Country Airplay (Billboard) and "US Hot Country Songs (Billboard)" with Billboard in parentheses. Instead, you added "US Billboard Country Airplay". Sure, there's probably not much confusion that this is the same chart as noted above, but it should match for consistency. Thank you. Ss112 07:35, 19 December 2017 (UTC)
December 2017
Thanks for contributing to the article 2018 in country music. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that contributions must be verifiable, by being clearly attributed to reliable sources, preferably using inline citations. Please help by adding more sources to the article you edited, and/or by clarifying how the sources already given support the claims (see here for how to do inline referencing). Thanks! P.S. If you need any help, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia or ask at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page, or just ask me. Thank you. --Jax 0677 (talk) 02:50, 28 December 2017 (UTC)
Archive
Hello. It appears your talk page is becoming quite lengthy and is in need of archiving. According to Wikipedia's user talk page guidelines; "Large talk pages become difficult to read, strain the limits of older browsers, and load slowly over slow internet connections. As a rule of thumb, archive closed discussions when a talk page exceeds 75 KB or has multiple resolved or stale discussions." - this talk page is 57 KB. See Help:Archiving a talk page for instructions on how to manually archive your talk page, or to arrange for automatic archiving using a bot. If you have any questions, place a {{help me}} notice on your talk page, or go to the help desk. Thank you. --Jax 0677 (talk) 02:51, 28 December 2017 (UTC)
