Regarding the architect's probable legacy.
"The design, which is Early Pointed Gothic in style, is one of Mr. Keely's best efforts, and when completed will add another fine building to the many already built throughout the country by this architect."[2]
Regarding the Hartford cathedral - is less impressed by Keely's non-church designs here, the convent and rectory.
