CONFUSION IN A PHOTO OF MINSHAWI AND BAHTIMI

There have been a confusion of an image of Shaykh Kamil Yusuf AlBahtimi to Shaykh Muhammad Siddiq Minshawi

Overview

Shaykh Muhammad Siddiq AlMinshawi and Shaykh Kamil Yusuf AlBahtimi are famous Egyptian reciters who had both lived during the same period. Minshawi was born on 1920 and died in 1969^[1] while Bahtimi live from 1922 to 1969^[2]^[3]. The both reciters had also studied at the hand of Shaykh Muhammad Salamah^[4]^[5].

Confusion

There have been a confusion of an Image of the two reciters in which many of the audio full Qur'an of Shaykh Minshawi could be seen bearing Shaykh Bahtimi's photo. The reason for this confusion remains unclear.
