This is a list of railway stations in the Western Cape province of South Africa, organised according to the various lines on which the stations are to be found.
Cape Main Line
[edit]The Cape Main Line runs from Cape Town towards the interior of the country, continuing out of the Western Cape to Kimberley and Johannesburg.
The following three stations are located between De Doorns and Kleinstraat on the old line over the Hex River Pass, and have been bypassed as a result of the construction of the Hex River Tunnels.

Atlantis branch line
[edit]This line branches from the Cape Main Line at Century City and runs north to the town of Atlantis.

West Coast branch line
[edit]This line branches from the Cape Main Line at Kraaifontein and runs northwards through Malmesbury and Vredendal to Bitterfontein.
A branch from Kalbaskraal leads to the coastal town of Saldanha.
Stellenbosch loop
[edit]This line diverges from the Cape Main Line at Bellville and passes through Eerste Rivier and Stellenbosch before rejoining the main line at Muldersvlei.

Overberg branch line
[edit]This line branches from the Stellenbosch loop at Eerste Rivier, and crosses Sir Lowry's Pass into the Overberg, passing through the town of Caledon and terminating at Protem. A branch from this line at Klipdale junction passes south to Bredasdorp.

Worcester–Mossel Bay
[edit]This line (also known as the New Cape Central Railway) runs from Worcester on the Cape Main Line to Voorbaai junction near Mossel Bay, where it connects to another line which runs onwards to George and ultimately to Port Elizabeth.
Mossel Bay–Port Elizabeth
[edit]This line runs along the coast from Mossel Bay to George, and then turns inland across the Outeniqua Mountains to Oudtshoorn. From there it passes inland to Klipplaat where it meets another line descending to Port Elizabeth.
Knysna branch line
[edit]This closed line runs from George on the Mossel Bay–Port Elizabeth line to Knysna.
Calitzdorp branch line
[edit]This closed line runs from Oudtshoorn on the Mossel Bay–Port Elizabeth line to Calitzdorp.
Avontuur Railway
[edit]The four westernmost stations of the narrow-gauge Avontuur Railway are in the Western Cape; the rest of the railway is in the Eastern Cape.
