Griff is the English Bulldog mascot that serves as the official live mascot of Drake University. Griff was introduced to the Drake community on October 8, 2015.
History
[edit]Porterhouse Legacy
[edit]Porterhouse, winner of the 2009 Drake Relays' Beautiful Bulldog Contest, became a beloved member of the Drake community so much that he became Drake's first official live mascot. From 2009 to January, 2015, when he passed away, Porterhouse acted as a representative of the Drake Bulldogs.[1]
