Hello, I'm Fyddlestix! If you have any issues or questions about my edits, friendly advice, or just want to say hello please visit my Talk Page.

Note: If you get a "thanks" notification from me that doesn't make sense, please ignore it with my apologies. I often read/edit wikipedia on mobile and it is way too easy to hit that big "thank" button by accident!

Avert your eyes, children! These are some of the worst page versions/revisions I've encountered on wikipedia:

Jacob Truedson Demitz

  • Under "awards:" Formally, Jacob Truedson Demitz wears The Beverly Hills Hotel's five-year gold pin, from work 1976–1984 as Front Desk Manager and Duty Manager there. Cause that's totally an encyclopedia-worthy "award." You get a gold star if you can figure out what the "formally" adds to that sentence. Bonus for the pictures-of-me-with-famous-people overkill. (now deleted, thanks to this train wreck of an AFD)

Jerry Speziale

  • One sub-section of this mess alone had 28 subheadings - gems like Speziale Receives Catalyst for Change Award

Death of Kirill Denyakin

  • Extensive editorial comments IN CAPS and strong pro-cop bias, eg the jury rightly refused to indict the officer on criminal charges... (Creepily, the same officer later shot someone else, and was found guilty of manslaughter).

Dimitri Soudas

  • See the "quoteable quotes" section - cause all encyclopedia articles need one of those right?

Subcomandante Marcos

  • Second sentence of the lede: Subcomandante Marcos, the character, the constructed persona, the hologram, the "colorful ruse," was created by the Clandestine Revolutionary Indigenous Committee of the Zapatistas, because "[the outsiders] can only see those who are as small as they are. Let's make someone as small as they are, so that they can see him and through him, they can see us." Determined by the Zapatistas to have become a distraction, the figure announced it to be destroyed in late May 2014.
