Film-making is an art that combines creativity and technique. One acclaimed Thai director has been creating diverse and challenging works that have set new standards in the Thai film industry for decades. This article explores his notable works from his early indie film to his most challenging recent project.
A writer of "Song of Freedom" (Carabao Movie) is one of Thailand's earliest indie films, created in collaboration with the band Carabao, the most popular band of the 1980s with their album "Made in Thailand." This film documents the band's musical journey.
"Still" is a road movie highly praised by indie enthusiasts. The film uses a journey as a metaphor for self-discovery and finding life's meaning.
"Once Upon A Time In Japan"[5] is a romantic film shot in both Thailand and Japan, starring Japanese singer Shojotai Reiko Yasuhara. The film presents a love story juxtaposed with cultural differences.
